국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 본 연구는 집행기능을 중심으로 초등학생의 진로성숙도에 영향을 미치는 변수를 분석하는데 주된 목적이 있다. 방법 한국아동패널조사(Panel Study on Korean Children) 13차년 자료를 활용하여 분산분석, 회귀분석 등의 분석을 수행하였다. 결과 학생특성별로 분석한 결과를 요약하면, 학생의 성별과 관련해서 통계적으로 유의미하게 여학생의 평균 진로성숙도가 남학생 평균 진로성숙도보다 높았다. 학생의 거주지 규모의 경우는 읍면지역, 대도시, 중소도시 순으로 학생의 평균 진로성숙도가 높았지만, 대도시에 거주하는 학생의 진로성숙도와 중소도시에 거주하는 학생의 진로성숙도 차이만이 통계적으로 유의미하였다. 사회경제적지위 집단별로 보면, 사회경제적지위가 높을수록 학생의 평균 진로성숙도 평균이 높았지만, 사회경제적지위가 하위층과 상위층 그리고 사회경제적지위가 중위층과 상위층인 경우에 집단간 초등학생의 진로성숙도에 있어서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 회귀분석을 수행한 분석결과를 요약하면, 초등학생의 진로성숙도에 학생의 성별, 계획·조직화곤란도, 부모의 성취압력, 학급당 학생수가 통계적으로 유의미하게 부적으로 영향을 끼쳤다. 반면에, 학생의 끈기(grit), 학생의 동아리 활동 참여와 같은 변수가 초등학생의 진로성숙도에 통계적으로 유의미하게 정적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 결론 연구결과를 바탕으로 초등학생의 진로성숙도 향상과 진로교육 활성화 방안을 위한 정책적 제언과 후속연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The main purpose of this study is to analyze the variables that affect the career maturity of elementary school students, focusing on executive function. Methods Using data from the 13th year of the Panel Study on Korean Children, analysis of variance and regression analysis was performed. Results Summarizing the results of the analysis by student characteristics, the average career maturity of girls was statistically significantly higher than the average career maturity of boys in relation to student gender. In the case of the size of students' residences, the average career maturity of students was higher in the order of township area, large city, and small and medium-sized city, but only the difference between the career maturity of students living in large cities and the career maturity of students living in small and medium-sized cities was statistically significant. For each socioeconomic status group, higher socioeconomic status was associated with higher mean career maturity of students, but there was a statistically significant difference in career maturity among primary school students between groups when the socioeconomic status was lower and upper and the socioeconomic status was between the middle and upper levels. Summarizing the results of the regression analysis, the gender of the students, difficulty in planning and organizing, parental achievement pressure, and the number of students per class had a statistically significant negative effect on the career maturity of elementary school students. On the other hand, variables such as student grit and student participation in club activities had a statistically significant and static effect on elementary school students' career maturity. Conclusions Based on the results of the study, policy proposals and follow-up research were made to improve the career maturity of elementary school students and revitalize career education.
