2020 개정 성인 문해 중학 국정교과서 개발에 관한 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 2019년부터 2020년도에 개정된 성인 문해 중학 국정교과서의 개정 현황과 집필 특성을 구체적으로 논의하였다. 현재로서는 성인문해교육 국정교과서 개발 과정에 대하여 구체적으로 논의된 연구가 절대적으로 부족한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구를 통하여 문해교육 교과서가 지향하는 방향, 교과서 개정을 통하여 체계성을 더 높인 점 등을 밝히고, 중학과정 성인문해 교과서 개발 과정의 전모를 이해함으로서 교과서를 지도하거나 활용하고, 연계된 교육 자료를 개발하는 데에 도움이 되고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 문해교과서의 필요성, 교과서 개발의 의의, 관련 고시 점검, 학령기 중학 교과서와의 차이점, 초등 성인문해 교육과정과 중학 성인문해 교육과정의 연계성 문제 등을 점검하면서 개정 성인문해 중학교과서 개정의 현황을 구체적으로 논의하였다. 결과 논의를 통하여 학습 적령기를 벗어난 성인 학습자의 문해 학습 자료 개발의 필요성을 밝히고, 2019-2020 성인 문해 중학 교과서 개정의 타당성을 설명하였다. 이전 교과서와의 차이점, 학령기 중학 교과서와의 차이점, 이번 개정 과정에서 중요하게 고려된 점 등을 명시화하였다. 결론 이번에 개정된 교과서는 ‘문해’에 대한 시대적 요구에 부응하고 생활 문해를 강화하는 교육부의 새로운 고시에 따른 것임을 밝혔다. 그리고 초등과정과 중학과정의 난이도 격차를 해소하고 연계성과 학습의 실용성을 더욱 높이기 위하여 노력하였음을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to discuss in detail the background and characteristics of the adult literacy middle school national textbooks revised from 2019 to 2020. Methods For this purpose, the necessity of literacy textbooks and the significance of textbook development were discussed. In addition, related examinations were reviewed and the differences between school-age middle school textbooks and adult literacy textbooks were reviewed. In addition, it checked whether the elementary adult literacy curriculum and the secondary adult literacy curriculum are well connected. Results Through various discussions, the necessity of developing textbooks for adult learners who have passed the age of learning and the reason why the revision of the 2019-2020 adult literacy middle school textbook was inevitable was explained. It revealed differences from previous textbooks, differences between school-age middle school textbooks and adult literacy middle school textbooks, and important considerations in this revision process. Conclusions It was clarified that the revised textbook responded to the changing demands of the times for ‘literacy’ and that it was in accordance with a new notice from the Ministry of Education, which strengthens literacy in daily life. In addition, it was confirmed that the gap between elementary and secondary courses was resolved and the practicality of learning was further enhanced.
