비대면 온라인 수업방식의 전면적 시행 경험에 대한 체육계열 대학원생들의 어려움과 고민에 관한 고찰

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 체육전공 심화과정을 이수하고자 진학한 체육계열 대학원생을 대상으로 코로나 19 감염증으로 인하여 전면적인 비대면 온라인수업이 시작되면서 겪고 있는 어려움과 고민에 대해 탐색해보고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 A대학교의 체육계열 대학원에 진학하여 2020년 1, 2학기 동안 비대면 온라인 수업을 수강한 대학원생 98명을 대상으로 심층적 비구조화된 질문지를 작성하여 본교 대학원생들이 이용하는 대학원 lms 목록에 탑재해 놓았다. 질문지의 질문은 세 가지로 자신이 경험한 온라인 수업에 대해 솔직하고 구체적으로 기술할 수 있도록 하였다. 수집된 98명의 자료를 분석하기 위해 질적연구 자료의 대표적인 분석방법인 귀납적 범주분석과 해석적 분석방법이 사용되었다. 결과 이를 통해 체육계열 대학원생들은 디지털 기기 활용과 적응에 있어서 어려움이 있었던 것으로 나타났으며, 이를 개선하기 위해서는 원활한 온라인 수업을 위해서는 무엇보다도 먼저 학교의 행정적, 재정적 지원을 통한 디지털 인프라 구축이 우선시 되어야 할 뿐 아니라 교수자와 학생들을 대상으로 디지털 리터러시 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 하는 교육내용을 교육과정에 포함하여 그들의 디지털 리터러시 역량을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법을 모색할 필요가 있다. 또한 비대면 온라인 수업방식이 온전한 학습을 방해하고 있어, 이 때문에 학습에 있어서의 집중력 저하, 시험과 평가에 대한 공정성 및 신뢰성에 대한 불신, 교수자 또는 동료학생들과의 원활한 피드백이나 의사소통의 문제 등이 발생하는 것에 대한 고민을 나타냈다. 이를 개선하기 위해서는 대학별 또는 대상자 별, 과목별로 구분하여 그것에 적절한 온라인 학습방식이 무엇인지를 면밀히 검토한 후 통일된 온라인 학습방식을 적용할 수 있도록 안내하여야 할 것이다. 결론 학교와 교수자는 기존의 교육과정을 비대면 온라인 방식에 적절한 교육과정으로 재구성하여 학생들이 수업의 질이나 시험과 평가의 공정성을 의심하거나 학습의 질을 걱정하는 일이 없도록 노력하여야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to explore the difficulties and concerns experienced by the start of non-face-to-face online classes due to the COVID-19 infection for graduate students in the field of physical education. Methods An in-depth, unstructured questionnaire was prepared for 98 graduate students who entered the physical education graduate school and took non-face-to-face online classes during the first and second semesters of 2020 and loaded into the list of graduate school lms ‘lecture materials’ used by our graduate students. The questionnaire consisted of three questions so that they could honestly and specifically describe their experiences of online classes. In order to analyze the collected data from 98 subjects, inductive category analysis and interpretive analysis methods, which are representative analysis methods of qualitative research data, were used. Results Therefore, it was found that the physical education graduate students had difficulties in using and adapting to digital devices. It is necessary to find a way to improve their digital literacy competency by including educational content that can improve digital literacy skills for students and students in the curriculum. In addition, as the non-face-to-face online class method is hindering the complete learning, it is possible to reduce concentration in learning, distrust in the fairness and reliability of tests and evaluations, problems with smooth feedback or communication with teachers or fellow students, etc. expressed concern about what was happening. In order to improve this, it is necessary to guide the application of the unified online learning method after closely examining the appropriate online learning method by dividing it by university, subject, and subject. Conclusions Administrative agencies and instructors should try to reconstruct the existing curriculum into an appropriate non-face-to-face online curriculum so that students do not doubt the quality of classes, fairness of tests and evaluations, or worry about the quality of learning.
