국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 전국 특수학교의 부모상담 현황과 특수교사가 인식하는 부모상담 및 요구를 알아보고, 그에 따른 활성화 방안을 탐색하고자 하였다. 부모상담의 실제적인 운영자인 특수교사의 인식을 분석함으로서 특수학교 부모상담의 활성화를 위한 실질적인 자료를 제공하는 것이 목적이다. 방법 전국 특수학교 22개교에 근무하는 교사를 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하여 수합된 최종 209부의 설문지를 SPSS 21.1 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석을 하였다. 각 영역에 따른 문항을 분석하기 위해 빈도분석 및 기술통계를 사용하여 결과를 산출하였으며 학교 설립 형태와 학교급별에 따른 차이를 분석하기 위해 카이제곱 검정을 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수학교 부모상담 현황을 알아보기 위하여 부모상담 내용 및 방법, 전문상담교사 제도의 운영 현황을 분석하였다. 특수학교 설립 형태에 따라 부모상담 방법과 활용자료, 부모상담 장소에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 학교급별로는 대면상담 측면에서 유의미한 차이가 분석되었다. 둘째, 특수학교 부모상담에 대한 특수교사의 인식을 알아보기 위해서 부모상담 운영과 부모상담 시 특수교사가 만족하는 영역에 대해 분석하였다. 특히 부모상담 기법에 대한 특수교사의 인지정도에서는 학교급에 따라 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 특수학교 부모상담의 활성화를 위하여 교사지원 및 전문상담교사에 대한 요구와 부모, 학교, 정부에 대한 요구를 분석하였다. 특수교사가 희망하는 상담관련 연수의 영역은 교사가 담당하는 학생의 학교급에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 결론 특수학교의 효과적인 부모상담을 위하여 상담 전문성과 특수교육의 이해도를 갖춘 전문상담교사의 배치가 필요하다. 또한 부모상담은 특수학교만의 역할이 아니라 시⋅도교육청과의 협력을 통해 학교 설립 및 학교급에 따라 체계적인 시스템과 행⋅재정적 지원이 실시될 수 있도록 해야 한다. 마지막으로 특수학교에서의 상담은 부모 뿐 아니라 장애학생 및 교사를 위한 상담지원이 활성화되고 지속되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status and the teachers needs of parents counseling in special schools and to examine activation plans based on the results. Methods The subjects were 209 teachers in 22 special education schools nationwide. The surveys were collected through teacher s responses. They were analyzed through frequency analysis using SPSS 21.1. The outcome of the survey was analyzed through frequency analysis and descriptive statistic to examine the questionnaire per category. A Chi-square test was performed to find out the forms of school establishment and the frequency differences depends on class levels. Results The results of this study are as follows; First, In order to investigate current status of parents counseling in special schools, contents and methods of parents counseling and professional school counselor system were analyzed. There were significant differences in methods, materials, place for the parents counseling according to school establishment classification. Also, there were significant differences in face-to-face counselling according to the school level. Second, In order to investigate teachers needs of parents counseling in special schools, management and teacher s satisfaction area of parents counseling were analyzed. There were significant differences in teacher s perception degree of parents counseling technique depending on school level. Third, teachers needs of parents counseling in part of teacher reinforcement, professional school counselor, and demands for parents, school, and government were analyzed. At the area of counseling training course that special education teachers want, there were significant differences depending on the school level of the students in charge. Conclusions For effective parental counseling in special schools, it is necessary to arrange a professional counselor with expertise in counseling and an understanding of special education. In addition, parental counseling should not only play a role for special schools but also cooperate with metropolitan/provincial offices of education so that a systematic system and administrative and financial support can be provided according to school establishment and. school level. Lastly, it is considered that counseling support in special schools should be activated and continued for not only parents but also students with disabilities and teachers.
