대학생의 낙태 태도에 미치는 영향요인

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 대학생의 낙태에 대한 인식과 태도 수준을 파악하고, 이들 간의 관계를 분석한 후 낙태에 대한 태도의 영향요인을 살펴보기 위함이다. 방법 대상자는 P시에 소재한 P대학에 재학 중인 만 19세 이상의 대학생 159명을 대상으로, 자료수집은 인구사회학적 및 낙태 관련 특성, 낙태에 대한 인식과 태도가 포함된 구조화된 온라인 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 결과 대학생의 낙태에 대한 인식과 태도 점수는 각각 18.63±3.63점, 41.50±11.34점이었으며, 대학생의 낙태에 대한 인식과 태도 간에는 음의 상관관계가 있었다(r=-.766, p<.001). 대학생의 낙태에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인은 낙태에 대한 인식(β=-.47), 혼전 임신으로 인한 낙태결정여부(β=.15), 임신시 힘듦으로 인한 낙태결정여부(β=.14), 산모건강 위독으로 인한 낙태결정여부(β=.13), 경제적 어려움으로 인한 낙태결정여부(β=.13), 법허용 낙태시기 24주 이내(β=.10), 법 허용 낙태시기 4주 이내(β=-.09), 낙태허용기간 24주 이내(β=.08)의 순서로 나타났다. 본 모형의 전체 설명력은 71.5%였다(F=55.99, p<.001). 결론 대학생의 낙태에 대한 인식과 태도 수준은 중간정도로 비슷한 수준이었으며, 태도에 가장 강력하게 영향을 미치는 요인은 낙태에 대한 인식이었다. 그러므로 대학생의 낙태에 대한 태도를 올바르게 형성하기 위해선 낙태에 대한 가치관 확립이 무엇보다 바르게 형성되어야 할 것이다. 이를 위해 실제적인 피임교육 및 체계적이고 정형화된 성교육과 같은 낙태예방 프로그램이 도움이 될 것이라 생각된다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to investigate the degree of awareness and attitude on abortion among college students, and to analyze the relationships among them, and to identify factors influencing the attitude on abortion among them. Methods 159 college students were recruited from P university in P city. They were over 19years. Data was collected using a self-reported questionnaire by on-line about demographic-sociological characteristics, characters related abortion, awareness and attitude toward abortion. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 21.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. Results The scores of awareness and attitude on abortion were 18.63 and 41.50. Awareness toward abortion correlated negatively with attitude toward abortion(r=-.766, p<.001). Factors influencing attitude on abortion of undergraduate students were awareness toward abortion(β=-.47), determination of abortion due to premarital pregnancy(β=.15), determination of abortion due to difficulty in pregnancy(β=.14), determination of abortion due to maternal health risk(β=.13), determination of abortion due to difficulty of economy(β=.13), allowable abortion time on legal(≤24weeks)(β=.10), allowable abortion time on legal(≤4weeks)(β=-.09), and allowable abortion period(≤24weeks)(β=.08), which explained about 71.5% of total variance(F=55.99, p<.001). Conclusions The degree of awareness and attitude on abortion among college students were moderate state. The best factors of influencing on attitude toward abortion was awareness toward abortion. Therefore, in order to correctly form college students attitudes toward abortion, the establishment of values for abortion should be formed correctly above all else. It is thought that abortion prevention programs such as practical contraception education and systematic and standardized sex education will be helpful.
