국문 초록

연구는 전문대학생들의 성향적 낙관성과 자기효능감이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 성향적 낙관성과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 부산, 경남 지역에 소재한 2개의 전문대학교 재학생 460명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 회귀분석과 Bootstraping을 실시하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 전문대학생의 성향적 낙관성과 자기효능감 모두 대학생활적응에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성향적 낙관성과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 자기효능감은 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 전문대학생의 성향적 낙관성이 대학생활적응에 직접적인 영향을 주고 있을 뿐만 아니라 자기효능감을 통해 대학생활적응에 간접적인 영향을 주고 있음을 의미한다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과는 전문대학생의 대학생활적응을 높이기 위해 개인 및 학교, 지역사회 차원에서 성향적 낙관성과 자기효능감을 향상시킬 수 있는 상담적 접근 및 프로그램 개발과 시행 등의 제도적 방안을 마련하는 것이 중요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the dispositional optimism and self-efficacy of college students on the adjustment of college life and to verify whether self-efficacy has a medial effect in the relationship between dispositional optimism and college life adjustment. For this purpose, 460 college students from two colleges located in Busan and Gyeongnam were collected for the study. The data were analyzed using regression analysis and Bootstraping. The result show as follows. First, it was found that both inclination dispositional optimism and self-efficacy of college students had a statistically significant effect on adjustment to college life. Second, self-efficacy has a partial mediating effect on the relationship between positive dispositional optimism and adjustment to college life. This suggests that the dispositional optimism of college students not only directly affects college life adjustment but also indirectly affects college life adjustment through self-efficacy. The findings of this study are important to provide institutional measures such as counseling approach and program development and implementation to improve dispositional optimism and self-efficacy at the individual, school, and community level in order to improve the college life adjustment of college students.
