청각건강신념과 청각장애인에 대한 인식 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생들의 청각건강신념과 청각장애인에 대한 인식을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 G 지역 소재 N 대학교의 518명 대학생을 대상으로 2019년 9월 2일부터 9월 20일까지 설문조사를 실시하여 최종 484명의 자료를 분석에 포함시켰다. 설문조사지는 배경정보와 청각건강신념과 청각장애인에 대한 인식 등 총 36문항으로 구성되었으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생들의 인구사회학적 특성을 살펴본 결과 청각건강신념의 경우 성별, 학년, 학과의 장애관련 유무에 따라 차이가 있었으며, 청각장애인에 대한 인식은 학년과 전공 학과의 장애관련성에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생들의 청각관련 특성을 살펴본 결과 청각건강신념의 경우 보청기착용 가족 유무, 자신의 주관적 청력상태 특성 및 청각장애관련 교과목 수강 경험에 따라 차이가 있었으며, 청각장애인에 대한 인식의 경우 청각장애관련 교과목 수강 및 청각장애 학생과의 상호작용 경험 유무에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 청각장애인에 대한 인식 개선에 기여하고, 향후 대학생들을 위한 청각건강관리 및 예방교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the Hearing health beliefs and perception on hearing disorder people of university students. The survey was conducted from September 2 to September 20, 2019 for 518 university students from N universities in G region. The final 484 data were included in the analysis. University students answered to the questionnaire was consisted of 36 background information, Hearing health beliefs, perception on hearing disorder people question item. As the results of study first, examining the demographic characteristics of university students. Hearing health beliefs differed according to gender, grade, and major. Perceptions of the hearing impaired differed according to grade and major. Second, the hearing-related characteristics of university students were examined. Hearing health beliefs differed according to the presence of hearing aid wearing families, their subjective hearing status, and their experience in taking courses related to hearing impairment. The perception of hearing impaired people differs depending on the course of hearing related subjects and the experience of interaction with students with hearing impairment. Based on these findings, this study will contribute to improving the perception of the hearing impaired, and will be used as basic data for the development of hearing management and prevention education programs for university students.
