‘초등발명교수학습 길잡이’ 원격 발명교육 직무연수 수강 교사의 연수 내용에 대한 중요도와 수행도 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 주제인 ‘초등 발명 교수학습 길잡이 연수’는 2008년 개발된 이후 한국발명진흥회 원격교육연수원에서 현장 교사들을 대상으로 직무 연수로 운영하였으며 2018년부터 자율 연수의 형태로 진행하고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 ‘초등 발명 교수학습 길잡이’ 연수 내용에 대해 교사들이 인식하는 중요도와 수행도 및 학교 현장에서 수행도를 높이기 위해 의견을 조사하여 개선방안을 제안하는 데 있다. 이 연구의 방법은 조사 연구로 ‘초등 발명 교수학습 길잡이’ 연수를 수강한 교사 중 같은 기수에 참여한 교사 100명에게 설문지를 배부하여 71개(71%)의 설문지를 회수하였고, 설문 결과는 IPA Matrix를 활용하여 분석하였다. 설문지는 리커트 5점 척도로 응답하고 연수의 개선 방안에 대해 의견을 기술하도록 하였다. 이 연구의 결과 첫째, 연수 내용은 중요한 편이며(4.359) 학교 현장에서 수행가능한 편으로(3.931) 응답하였고, 중요도와 수행도에 대한 인식에서 p < .01에서 차이를 보여 수행도를 높이기 위한 노력이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. IPA 분석 결과 중점 관심 영역은 발명과 스포츠용품, 발명과 건강용품, 자동개폐장치와 발명, 트러스 아치와 발명, 투석기와 발명을 내용으로 하는 차시로 나타났으며 초과 달성 영역은 발명교육학 ABC, 발명과 소리 차시로 나타났다. 이 연수의 개선 방안에 대해 교사들은 발명품 경진 대회 지도 방법, 발명교육의 교육과정 재구성, 발명 동아리 운영 방법, 발명품 제작 방법 등의 연수 내용을 원하였고, 연수 방법은 지역 영재교육센터 또는 대학 영재원에 방문하여 직접 수업을 참관하거나 체험하기, 워크숍 형태, 실제 연수를 받은 교사들이 수업을 진행해보는 수업 나눔, 멘토 교사와 함께 교사 동아리 형태의 연수가 운영되기를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Since its development in 2008, Training on Guide for Elementary Invention Teaching and Learning, the theme of the study, has been applied to elementary school students for five years by Distance Education Center of The Korea Invention Promotion Association(KIPA), and it was applied to 100 teachers each year. The study aims to examine opinions on the degree of importance and execution of training on guide for elementary invention training and learning as well as the degree of educational needs perceived by teachers and methods of improving the degree of execution in schools before suggestion of plans to realize improvement. As for methods of the study, questionnaires were distributed to 100 teachers who participated in A Guide for Elementary Invention Teaching and Learning before collecting 71 questionnaires (71%). As a result of the study, followings were found out. First, the contents of the study tended to be important (4.359), and many respondents found it possible to conduct the training at schools (3.931). As for perception on the degree of importance and execution, it recorded p < .01 in difference, which indicated that efforts need to be made to improve the degree of execution. As a result of IPA analyses, it turned out that areas of main interest included invention and sports equipment, invention and health products, automatic switchgear and invention, truss arch and invention and catapult and invention. As for how to improve training, participants favored a method of teaching invention compeition, reconstruction of invention education courses and methods of operation of invention clubs and production of inventions.
