정서조절 집단상담이 지역아동센터 초기 청소년의 정서표현성과 자아존중감 및 공격성에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 정서조절 집단상담이 지역아동센터 초기 청소년의 정서표현성 및 자아존중감과 공격성에 미치는 효과가 어떠한지 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해 부산광역시 수영구에 소재한 H 지역아동센터 초기 청소년 각 12명을 실험집단과 통제집단에 무선배치하였다. 실험집단에는 정서조절 집단상담을 12회기 실시하였고, 통제집단에는 어떠한 처치도 가하지 않았다. 정서조절 집단상담의 효과를 검증하기 위해 정서표현성과 자아존중감 및 공격성에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 사전, 사후 검사만 실시하였다. 실험집단은 12회기에 걸친 집단상담을 실시하여 정서표현성과 자아존중감 및 공격성에 미치는 효과를 알아보았다. 측정도구로는 정서표현성 척도, 자아존중감 척도, 공격성 척도를 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정서조절 집단상담은 지역아동센터 초기 청소년의 정서표현성 향상에 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 정서조절 집단상담이 지역아동센터 초기 청소년의 자아존중감 향상에 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 정서조절 집단상담이 지역아동센터 초기 청소년의 공격성 감소에 효과가 있었다. 이를 통해 정서조절 집단상담이 지역아동센터 초기 청소년의 정서표현성과 자아존중감을 향상시키고 공격성을 감소시키는 데 효과가 있음을 검증하였을 뿐만 아니라 정서조절 집단상담의 모델을 제공하였다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of emotion regulation group counseling on the emotional expressiveness, self-esteem, and aggression of children in local child center. For this purpose, the research questions are as follows: What effect does emotion regulation group counseling have on children in local child center’ emotional expressiveness, self-esteem and aggression? To proceed this study, the researcher selected 12 children who were joining in the center of emotion regulation group counseling at H children in local child center located in Suyeong-gu, Busan, and who wanted to participate in emotion regulation group counseling. Then, researcher divided those students into different study program. Then, this study applied 12 sessions of emotion regulation group counseling to the experimental group in order to determine the effects of the program on the group member s emotional expressiveness, self-esteem and aggression. The control group was not treated in any way. The measurement used in this study are the emotional expressiveness scale, self-esteem scale and aggression scale. Data were statistically processed through ANCOVA in accordance with SPSS Ver. 21.0 The findings of this study can be summarized as follows: First, emotion regulation group counseling has a meaningful effect on emotional expressiveness of male children in local child center. Second, emotion regulation group counseling has a meaningful effect on aggression of male children in local child center. Third, emotion regulation group counseling has a meaningful effect on self-esteem of male children in local child center. In conclusion, based on the findings above, this study shows that the emotion regulation group counseling helps male children in local child center.
