전문상담교사의 학교 경험에 관한 질적메타분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 전문상담교사의 학교 경험에 관한 질적 연구를 종합하는 질적메타분석을 실시하였다. 전문상담교사의 학교 경험을 종합하여 새로운 확장적 해석을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전문상담교사의 학교 경험에 관한 개별 질적 연구물들을 수집하였고, 기준에 맞는 14개의 질적 논문을 분석 대상으로 선정하였다. 선정된 논문은 Noblit과 Hare의 메타문화기술지 연구를 토대로 나장함이 정리한 8단계를 거쳐 분석하였고, 16개의 기술적 주제와 4개의 종합적 주제, 1개의 핵심주제를 도출하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 주제를 정리하면 전문상담교사는 준비가 되지 않은 학교현실에서 역할갈등을 겪으며 홀로 고군분투하는 과정을 거친다. 그 과정을 통해 자신의 내실을 다지고 동료와 관계를 맺음으로써 자기의 역할에 대한 확신을 갖게 되고 역할을 조정하고 확장하게 된다. 이 과정을 종합하여 전문상담교사의 학교 경험은 자기 결정성 획득을 통한 자리매김의 과정으로 해석하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, we conducted a qualitative meta-Synthesis that synthesizes qualitative research on school experiences of professional school counselors. The purpose of this study is to present a new broad interpretation by combining the experiences of professional school counselors. In this study, individual qualitative researches on school experiences of professional school counselors were collected and 14 qualitative papers meeting the our team’s criteria were selected for analysis. The selected papers were analyzed through 8 stages organized by Na Jang-Ham based on the research of Noblit and Hare s meta-ethnography. As a result, 16 technical themes, 4 comprehensive themes, and 1 key topic were drawn. To sum up the themes derived from this study, the professional school counselors go through a process of struggling alone while experiencing role conflict in unprepared school reality. Through this process, they can build their own strengths and engage with their peers to gain confidence in their role and to coordinate and expand their role. Integrating this process, the professional school counselor s school experience was interpreted as a process of establishing self-determination.
