국문 초록

본 연구는 유아의 창의적 인성에 대한 기질과 어머니-유아 상호작용의 영향과 기질과 창의적 인성의 관계에서 어머니-유아 상호작용의 조절효과를 성별에 따라 살펴보는데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 대상은 유아 405명과 그들의 어머니 405명이며 수집된 자료는 t-검증, Pearson의 적률상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 통하여 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 유아의 창의적 인성은 여아가 남아보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 창의적 인성에 대하여 남아와 여아 공통적으로 어머니-유아 상호작용이 가장 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 그 다음 남아의 경우 사회성과 활동성 기질이, 여아의 경우 부정적 정서성과 활동성 기질이 의미 있는 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 기질과 창의적 인성의 관계에서 어머니-유아 상호작용의 조절효과는 성별에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 남아의 경우 부정적 정서성과 창의적 인성의 관계에서, 여아의 경우 활동성 및 사회성과 창의적 인성의 관계에서 어머니-유아 상호작용의 조절효과가 나타났다. 이로써 유아의 창의적 인성 발달에 어머니와 유아의 긍정적 상호작용이 중요하며 기질도 관련이 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 그리고 유아의 기질에 따른 창의적 인성 발달을 도우기 위한 어머니-유아 상호작용의 영향은 성별에 따라 차이가 있어 창의적 인성 발달을 도우기 위한 개입이나 교육은 남아와 여아 간에 다르게 접근함이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the modulating effects of mother-child interaction on relationships between preschooler’s temperament and creative personality. Participants of this study were 405 preschoolers aged 3 to 5 and their mothers. Data were analyzed with t-test, Pearson’s correlations, multiple-regression analysis using SPSS 22.0 Program. The major results were as follows. First, female preschoolers are higher in creative personality including playfulness than male ones. Second, for male preschoolers, higher activity, higher sociality and more mother-child interaction lead to higher creative personality. For female preschoolers, lower negative emotionality, higher activity, higher sociality and more mother-child interaction bring about higher creative personality. Third, mother-child interaction has the most important influence on preschoolers’ creative personality, whether they are male or female. Fourth, for male preschoolers, there’s the modulating effect of mother-child interaction on relationships between negative emotionality and creative personality. For female preschoolers, while, there’s the modulating effect of mother-child interaction on relationships between activity, sociality and creative personality. In conclusion, the creative personality of preschoolers is closely related with mother-child interaction, irrespective of their gender. And the modulating effect of mother-child interaction on relationships between the temperament and creative personality of preschoolers varies depending on young children’s gender.
