국문 초록

본 연구는 지각된 성취목표지향성과 부모의 심리적 통제가 진로장벽과 진로포부에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 서울시와 충남 아산시 소재 대학에 재학 중인 343명의 대학생이며, 성취목표지향성 검사, 부모의 심리적 통제 검사, 진로장벽 검사, 진로포부 검사를 사용하였다. 수집한 데이터는 상관분석을 통하여 변인 간의 관계를 규명하고, 위계적 회귀분석을 활용하여 지각된 성취목표지향성과 부모의 심리적 통제가 진로장벽과 진로포부에 미치는 영향을 도출하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성취목표지향성과 부모의 심리적 통제는 진로장벽과 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 성취목표지향성과 진로포부는 정적 상관을 보였으나 부모의 심리적 통제와 진로포부는 부적 상관이 나타났다. 셋째, 학년과 수행회피목표지향성, 숙달접근목표지향성은 진로장벽에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 결과가 나타났다. 넷째, 학년과 숙달·수행접근목표지향성, 부모의 죄책감 유도는 진로포부에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 이로써 본 연구는 대학생의 진로장벽과 진로포부의 수준에 대한 이해를 통해 진로상담상황에서 효과적인 개입을 제공하여 바람직한 진로결정에 도움을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study examines the effects of perceived achievement goal orientation and parental psychological control on career barriers and career aspirations. The subjects of this study were 343 college students in Seoul and Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, Korea. We used the achievement goal orientation scale, parental psychological control scale, career barrier scale, and career aspiration scale. The collected data were used to identify relationships among variables through correlation analysis, and the effects of perceived achievement goal orientation and parental psychological control on career barriers and career aspirations were deduced using hierarchical regression analysis. The research results are as follows. First, achievement goal orientation and parental psychological control were positively correlated with career barriers. Second, achievement goal orientation had a positive correlation with career aspiration, but parental psychological control and career aspiration had a negative correlation. Third, grade, performance avoidance goal orientation, and mastery approach goal orientation had significant effects on career barriers. Fourth, grade, mastery, performance approach goal orientation, and parental guilt induction had a significant effect on career aspirations. Inducing parents guilt also reduced the effect of school year on career aspirations. Thus, this study is expected to provide effective interventions in career counseling situations through the understanding of career barriers and the level of career aspirations of college students, which will help them to make good career decisions.
