치매전문인력의 치매태도 및 치매예방행위에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 치매예방 및 관리에 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있는 치매전문인력의 치매태도와 치매예방행위 정도를 파악하고 관련 요인을 확인하기 위해 수행되었다. 자료 수집은 2018년 11월 10일부터 11월 30일까지 이루어졌으며, 치매전문인력 201명을 편의표집하여 치매관련 특성을 포함한 자가 보고식 설문지를 이용하여 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSSWIN 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 치매태도 점수는 5점 만점에 2.96점, 치매예방행위 점수는 3.39점으로 나타났다. 남성이 치매태도 점수가 높았으며, 치매예방행위는 연령이 높을수록, 방문요양기관 근무자가, 치매예방음식 섭취개수가 많을수록, 치매조기예방에 관심이 있는 경우, 정기적으로 혈압체크를 하는 경우에 높게 나타났다. 치매예방행위에 영향을 미치는 관련 요인은 치매예방음식 섭취개수, 정기적 혈압체크 여부, 치매조기예방 관심 여부, 방문요양기관 근무자였으며, 이들 변수의 설명력은 28%였다. 치매전문인력의 치매예방행위를 향상시키기 위해서는 치매특성을 반영한 지식 및 치매예방음식에 관한 정보와 혈압체크의 중요성을 강조하는 교육내용과 치매에 대한 긍정적인 태도 형성 및 치매조기예방에 관심을 높이기 위한 홍보전략을 포함한 교육프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the levels of dementia attitudes, dementia preventive behaviors and identify influential factors on dementia preventive behaviors. The data was collected by self- report questionnaires from convenience sample of 201 dementia care workers. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, stepwise regression by SPSSWIN 25.0 program. The mean dementia attitudes score was 2.96, the mean dementia preventive behaviors score was 3.39. Dementia attitudes had a statistically significant difference by sex. Dementia preventive behaviors had a statistically significant difference by age, workplace, the number of ingestion of foods that prevent dementia, the existence of attention to early prevention of dementia and regularly blood pressure check. As a result of stepwise regression analysis, dementia preventive behaviors accounted for 28% of the variance by the number of ingestion of foods that prevent dementia, regularly blood pressure check, the existence of attention to early prevention of dementia, a visiting care center worker. The results of this study reveal that considering dementia attitudes and attention to early prevention of dementia should be integrated in developing effective educational program for enhancing dementia specialized knowledge, dementia preventive foods, the significance of blood pressure check and an institution other than a visiting care center.
