국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 교사가 근무하는 직무환경(시설 유형, 설립 유형, 학급 내 아동 수 및 적절성)과 교사의 특성(연령, 학력, 전공, 근무시간)이 업무 스트레스 변인과 관련 있는지에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구는 육아정책연구소(KICCE)의 한국아동패널(PSKC) 7차(2014년) 조사자료를 활용하였다. 연구대상은 영유아교육기관(어린이집, 유치원) 교사 1,120명이다. 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t 검증, 교차분석을 하였다. 연구결과 교사는 업무에 대해 스트레스를 받고 있었다. 또한 교사가 근무하는 직무환경(시설 유형, 설립 유형, 학급 내 아동 수 및 적절성)과 교사의 특성(연령, 근무시간)에 따라 업무 스트레스의 차이를 보였다. 따라서 교사가 담당하는 학급당 유아 수를 낮추고, 교육 이외의 행정업무를 줄여 근무시간이 개선되어야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the job environment(type of facilities, type of establishment, number of children in the class, and appropriateness) of teachers and their characteristics(age, educational background, major, working hours) are related to job stressors. This study utilized the seventh(2014) survey data of the Panel Study on Korean Children(PSKC) of the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education(KICCE). The research target is 1,120 teachers at infant childhood education institutions. For data analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and cross analysis were performed using the SPSS 25.0 program. As a result of the study, the teacher was under stress about his work. They also showed differences in job stress depending on the job environment(type of facilities, type of establishment, number of children in class and appropriateness) and the characteristics of teachers(age, working hours). Therefore, working hours should be improved by lowering the number of infants per class that teachers are responsible for, and by reducing administrative tasks other than education.
