초·중등 영재학생들의 영재성과 미래핵심역량 비교

국문 초록

급변하는 지식기반사회에 발맞추어 미래핵심역량이 강조되고 있으며 영재교육 분야에서도 미래사회에 필요한 핵심역량을 골고루 갖춘 창의·융합형 인재 양성이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 미래핵심역량 진단 검사지를 활용하여 영재학생들의 핵심역량 수준을 일반학생들과 비교하고 이를 영재성검사 결과와 비교 분석하였으며 두 검사의 상관이 매우 높거나 매우 낮은 학생들을 대상으로 개인심층면담을 실시하였다. 이를 위하여 초·중등 영재학생 총 80명과 같은 지역의 일반학생 80명이 참여하였으며 자료는 영재학생들 수업이 있는 5월~8월 사이에 수집 분석되었다. 영재학생들의 미래핵심역량은 모든 하위 영역에서 일반학생들보다 우수하였으나 각 하위 영역별로 영재학생들에게도 충분하지 못한 요소가 나타났다. 또한, 영재성 검사와 핵심역량 수준 간에는 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났으나, 회귀분석 결과 창의역량을 제외하면 자기주도역량이나 사회역량은 영재성검사에 아무런 영향을 주지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과 현재는 주로 영재 선발을 위하여 영재성검사를 활용하고 있기 때문에 창의·융합형 미래사회인재를 양성하기 위해서는 창의역량 외에 자기주도역량, 사회역량을 측정할 수 있는 도구가 별도로 개발될 필요가 있음을 알게 되었으며 영재교육 현장에 필요한 시사점을 찾을 수 있었다.

영문 초록

It is necessary to educate to adapt in a knowledge-based society, and the future core competency is emphasized. In the field of gifted education, it is emphasized to cultivate creative convergent talents with core competencies necessary for future society in line with these social trends. In this study, we analyzed the core competency level of gifted students compared with general students. 80 gifted students and 80 general students in the same region were participated, and data was collected between May and October when gifted students have classes. Gifted students responses to each item were examined in detail, and the correlation between the giftedness test and the core competency level in the selection process was verified. Also, in-depth interview was conducted with some exceptional students to understand the characteristics and environment of the students. As a result, it is found that there were significant differences between the two groups. However, if we look at each of the sub-areas, there are some elements that we need to pay attention for gifted students. There was a significant correlation between the giftedness test and the core competence level. Also, Regression analysis showed that only Creative Competency of the had a significant effect on giftedness. In order to cultivate future-oriented social talents, it is necessary to develop a tool that can separately measure self-directed competence and social competence in addition to creative competence.
