문자 텍스트와 복합양식 텍스트에 따른 학습자의 작문 양상 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 문자 텍스트와 복합양식 텍스트 유형에 따른 글쓰기 양상을 살펴본 것이다. 그 결과 학생들이 문자 텍스트보다 복합양식 텍스트로 정보를 접했을 때 쓰기 과제의 성취 수준이 더 높았다. 학생들의 인터뷰에서 문자 텍스트 기반 웹사이트 검색보다 복합양식 텍스트 기반의 유튜브 플랫폼의 선호도가 더 높게 나타난 점은 과거와 차별되는 두드러진 사회 현상이며, 이 연구를 통해 다시 확인할 수 있었다. 미래 쓰기 교육은 복합양식 텍스트 기반의 쓰기 교육의 확대가 필요하며 이해와 표현 두 가지측면에서 모두 복합양식 텍스트가 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다. 디지털 세대는 선형적으로 나열된 문자텍스트보다 이미지로 소통하는 세대이며 복합양식 텍스트로 정보를 받아들이고 이것이 쓰기에도 영향을끼친다는 것을 확인하였다. 영상, 자막, 소리 등 다양한 양식이 결합된 복합양식 텍스트는 학습자의 감각을 자극하여 이전과는 다른 정보처리가 가능하게 만들었다. 그렇다고 문자 텍스트가 아예 불필요하다고 해석하는 것도 경계해야 한다. 모든 정보의 원천은 글로 시작되므로 문자 텍스트와 복합양식 텍스트를 서로 보완하며 교육 자료로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 논의하는 것이 합리적일 것이다.

영문 초록

This study examined the effect of writing depending on Letter-based Text and Multimodal Text, and showed a high level of achievement in writing tasks at a higher rate when students encountered information with multimodal text rather than letter-based text. This result is the result of diagnosing the immediate tasks such as the necessity of education for multimodal text and the implementation of educational content for multimodal text. As students' interviews show, the fact that the multimodal text-based YouTube platform is more actively used than letter-based website search through a search engine is emerging as a prominent social phenomenon that distinguishes it from the past, and it was confirmed again through this study. Future writing education needs to expand writing education based on composite form text, suggesting that composite form text can be utilized in both understanding and expression. Accordingly, research hypotheses 1 and 2 were confirmed. The digital generation is a generation that communicates with images rather than linearly listed textual text, and it is confirmed that it accepts information in complex form text and that this also affects writing. Composite style text that combines various styles such as video, subtitles, and sound stimulates learners' senses so that information processing is different from before.
