소리를 활용한 도시장소기록 전시의 의의와 한계

국문 초록

최근 변화하는 도시풍경을 역사적 기술이나 건축적 데이터를 넘어 문화적으로 기억하고 기록하는 다양한 시도가 일어나고 있다. 전시, 출판물 등 다양한 형태로 제작되는 이러한 콘텐츠들은 사라지는 도시장소를 기록함과 동시에 익숙한 도시장소들을 의미화하고, 더 나은 곳으로 발전시킬 수 있다는 데에 의의가 있다. 본 연구는 도시를기록하고 기억하는 문화적 방법으로서의 소리전시를 분석했다. 문헌고찰을 통해 도시장소기록의 사례와 도시장소기록 소리전시의 사례를 조사하고 현황을 파악했다. 이후 <블루아워: 염천교 수제화거리 사운드스케이프展>를 대상으로 도시장소기록 소리전시의 제작 방법을 연구하고 전시의 의의와 한계를 알아보았다. 도시장소기록 소리전시는아직까지 그 수가 많지 않고, 체계적인 연구 또한 부족하다. 추후에는 도시장소기록 소리전시의 기획자와 창작자들의 의견을 모아 체계적인 전시를 가능하게 하는 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

Various attempts are being made to culturally remember and record the changing urban landscape beyond historical technology or architectural data. These contents, which are produced in various forms such as exhibitions and publications, are meaningful in that they can record the disappearing city places and at the same time signify familiar city places and develop them into better places. This study analyzed sound exhibition as a cultural method to record and remember the city. Through literature review, cases of urban place records and sound exhibitions of urban place records were investigated and the current situation was grasped. Afterwards, studied the production method of the urban place record sound exhibition and investigated the significance and limitations of the exhibition. There are still not many sound exhibitions in urban place records, and systematic research is also lacking. In the future, it is necessary to conduct research to enable systematic exhibition by gathering the opinions of planners and creators of the sound exhibition of urban place records.
