국문 초록

본 연구는 2010년대부터 온라인 모바일의 핵심 콘텐츠로 자리잡은 웹툰의 구성 요소 특성이 구전 의도에 미치는 영향 및 작가-독자 간 상호 작용성의 매개 효과 등을 분석 검증하였다. 이를 위해, 본 연구는 온라인 설문조사를 통해 381부의 자료를 수집하였고, IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도 분석, 기술 통계량 분석, 신뢰성 타당성 검증, 상관 관계 분석 및 가설 검증을 위한 다중 회귀 분석, 위계적 회귀 분석 등을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 웹툰 구성 요소의 하위 요인들은 연출성, 공감성의 순서로 유의한 영향을 미치고, 정보성은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 작가-독자 간 상호 작용성은 웹툰 구성 요소가 구전의도에 미치는 영향을 유의하게 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 통해, 웹툰 작가 및 플랫폼은 작품의 종합적인 연출력과 함께, 보다 많은 독자들의 소통과 유대 의식을 촉진하는 공감적 특성 및 작가-독자 간 진솔한 상호 작용 등 다방면에서 균형과 조화를 이루기 위한 전략적 노력을 기울여야 하는 사실을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed and verified the effect of the component characteristics of webtoons, which have become a core content of online and mobile since the 2010s, on word of mouth intention and the mediating effect of writer-reader interaction. To this end, this study collected 381 copies of data through an online survey, and conducted frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, reliability and validity verification, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was analyzed that the sub-factors of webtoon components had a significant effect in the order of directing and empathy, and informativity did not. Second, it was found that the writer-reader interaction significantly partially mediated the effect of webtoon components on word of mouth intention. Through the above results, it was confirmed that webtoon writers and platforms should make strategic efforts to achieve balance and harmony in various ways, including the comprehensive directing power of the work, sympathetic characteristics that promote more reader communication and bonding.
