국문 초록

코로나19 이후 동북아 정세는 급격하게 변화되어 정치, 외교, 사회 등 전 분야의 전문가에게 많은 질문을 제기하게 만들었다. 한국은 급변하는 동북아 정세에 맞추어 효과적인 전략을 구상하여 기존의 미국과 중국에 크게 의존하던 방식에서 변화를 꾀하고 있다. 미중갈등 상황이 좀 더 심화될 것을 대비하여 신남방정책과 신북방정책을통한 외교 및 경제협력 국가의 다변화를 추진하며 세계 속의 한국의 위상을 높이려 하고 있다. 또한 시대적 상황에 맞추어 오랜 숙원인 남북관계 개선을 위한 전략을 연구하고 추진하여야 한다. 그 전략의 근본이 되는 것은 비핵화평화협상과 남북경제협력, 지역평화경제협력이어야 한다.

영문 초록

After Corona 19, the situation in Northeast Asia has changed rapidly, causing many questions to be raised by experts in all fields, including politics, diplomacy, and society. South Korea is trying to change the way it relies heavily on the US and China by devising an effective strategy in line with the rapidly changing situation in Northeast Asia. In preparation for a further escalation of the US-China conflict, the New Southern Policy and the New Northern Policy are promoting the diversification of countries for diplomatic and economic cooperation, thereby enhancing Korea’s status in the world. In addition, it is necessary to study and promote strategies for improving inter-Korean relations, a long-cherished dream in accordance with the circumstances of the times. The basis of that strategy should be denuclearization and peace negotiations, inter- Korean economic cooperation, and regional peace and economic cooperation.
