국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 진로장벽, 진로결정자기효능감, 자아존중감, 진로준비행동 간의 관계를 구조적으로 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 분석을 위해 한국고용정보원의 청년패널(Youth Panel: YP) 2018년도 12차 대학생 자료를 활용하였다. 주요 변인들 간의 관계를 확인하기 위해 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였고, 성별에 따른 집단 간 경로계수의 차이가 있는지 확인하기 위해 다집단 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 대학생의 진로준비행동에 자아존중감은 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 반면, 진로장벽과 진로결정자기효능감은 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로장벽과 진로준비행동에서 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과를 확인한 결과 진로준비행동의 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로장벽과 진로준비행동에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 확인한 결과 진로장벽이 진로준비행동에 미치는 직접효과는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았으나, 자아존중감을 매개로진로준비행동에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 성별에 따른 집단 간 경로계수의 차이는 통계적으로 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로, 진로준비행동을 촉진하기 위한 시사점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to structurally examine the relationship between career barrier, career decision-making self-efficacy, self-esteem, and career preparation behavior of college students. For the study, college students dataset from the 2018 year of 12th the Youth Panel (YP) of the Korea Employment Information Service were used. Structural equation model analysis was conducted to examine the relationship among the major variables. In addition, a multi-group analysis was conducted to determine whether there was a difference in path coefficients between gender. The results of the study were as follows. First, self-esteem had a positive effect on the career preparation behavior of college students, whereas career barriers and career decision-making self-efficacy were not statistically significant. Second, the mediating effect of career decision-making self-efficacy on the relationship between career barrier and career preparation behavior was not statistically significant. Third, the direct effect of career barriers on career preparation behavior was not statistically significant, but it was found that the mediating effect of self-esteem had an effect on career preparation behavior. Fourth, the difference in path coefficient between gender was not statistically significant. Based on the results of this study, implications for promoting career preparation behavior and suggestions for follow-up studies were discussed.
