카니발 페다고지 관점의 세계시민교육 개념 도식

국문 초록

카니발 페다고지는 러시아의 문학이론가인 Mikhail Bakhtin의 카니발 이론과 브라질의 교육사상가인 Paulo Freire의 페다고지의 핵심 개념을 담고 있으며, 학습자의 4차 산업혁명 시대 미래역량, 문화 다양성 이해, 세계시민교육에서 강조하는 세계시민성 함양에 매우 적합한 성격을 띠는 대안적 교육 이론이다. 교육 방법론 관점에서 보았을 때 카니발 페다고지를 세계시민교육 모형의 기저 이론으로 일반화하고 보급하기 위해서는 카니발 페다고지를 기반으로 구성되는 교육상황 안에서 교수자와 학습자가 구체적으로 어떤 역할을 수행해야 하며, 그에 따른 교수전략 수립 시의 주안점 및 유의점 등을 제시할 필요가 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 선행연구로부터 제시된 카니발 페다고지의 학습 단계를 Bakhtin과 Freire의 이론과 세계시민교육의 의미에 비추어 다시금 면밀하게 분석, 해체, 재구성하고 그 결과를 종합하여 카니발 페다고지 기반의 세계시민교육 모형 개발에 기초가 되는 개념 도식을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Carnival pedagogy is a compound word of two different words, carnival and pedagogy. The basis of the theory can be found in the Carnival Theory of Mikhail Bakhtin, a Russian-born literary theorist, and Pedagogy of Paulo Freire, a Brazilian educator. The Carnival Pedagoge was raised with the aim of realizing the educational environment required in the present era, in which various characteristics such as the era of multiculturalism, global citizenship education, and creativity are mixed. From the perspective of educational methods and educational technology, in order to generalize and disseminate Carnival pedagogy as a basic theory of the global citizenship education model and the specific role of the instructor and learner must be performed in the educational context composed of the carnival pedagogy. It is necessary to points to keep in mind when establishing a teaching strategy. In other words, a teaching-learning model that guides the design of a carnival pedagogy-based educational program is needed. In this study, the previously presented 4 learning stage of carnival pedagogy was linked to global citizenship education, and it was analyzed, dismantled and reconstructed. As a result, a conceptual scheme was presented for the development of a model of global citizenship education based on carnival pedagogy.
