어머니의 양육태도와 스마트폰 중독경향성이 유아의 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 양육태도와 스마트폰 중독경향성이 유아의 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 J시 소재한 어린이집에 재원 중인 만 3~5세 유아의 어머니 350명이며, 2019년 12월 30일부터 2020년 1월 31일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 양육태도와 스마트폰 중독경향성, 스마트폰 과의존은 연구대상 일반적 특성 중 유아의 연령, 어머니의 학력, 직업, 월 평균소득에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 양육태도, 스마트폰 중독경향성과 스마트폰 과의존의 관계를 살펴보면 양육태도 중 애정적 태도와 자율적 태도가 스마트폰 과의존과 부적상관이 있었으며, 거부적 태도와는 유의미한 정적상관 관계가 있었다. 또한 스마트폰 중독경향성 중 일상생활장애, 가상세계지향성과 금단이 스마트폰 과의존에 정적상관이 있었으며, 내성과는 부적상관 관계가 있었다. 스마트폰 과의존은 현저성과 문제와 정적상관이 있었으며, 충독ㆍ강박사용, 금단, 내성과는 부적상관관계가 있었다. 셋째, 유아의 스마트폰 과의존에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변인은 어머니의 스마트폰 중독경향성 중 일상생활장애였다. 따라서 어머니의 올바른 양육태도 함양 및 유아의 스마트폰 사용에 대한 합리적인 지도와 건강한 스마트폰 사용을 위한 다양한 교육 프로그램의 개발이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out how mothers attitudes toward parenting and smartphone addiction affect young children s overdependence on their smartphones. The subjects of this study were 350 mothers with 3 to 5 year-old young children who attend daycare centers in J-city. The research questionnaire were distributed to 350 from December 30, 2019, to January 31, 2020. As a result of the study, first, there were statistically significant differences in parenting attitude, smartphone addiction tendency, and smartphone dependence according to young children’s age, mother’s education, occupation, and monthly average income. Second, looking at the relationship between parenting attitude, smartphone addiction tendency, and smartphone dependence, among parenting attitudes, affectionate attitude and autonomous attitude had negative correlation with smartphone dependence, and there was a significant positive correlation with rejection attitude. In addition, there was a positive correlation between daily living disorder, virtual world orientation, and withdrawal of smartphone addiction tendency, and negative correlation with tolerance. The dependence on the smartphone had a positive correlation with the salience and problems, and there was a negative correlation with the addiction, compulsive use, withdrawal, and tolerance. Third, the most influential variable on young children s over-dependence on smartphones was the daily living disorder among mothers smartphone addiction tendency. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a variety of educational programs for the adequate use of smartphones and a sensible guide on the proper mothers’ parenting attitude and the use of young children’s smartphones.
