국문 초록

본 연구는 동화를 활용한 통합적 안전교육활동이 초등돌봄 1학년 아동의 안전지식 및 안전문제 해결능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 실시하였다. 연구대상은 서울특별시 소재 2곳의 초등돌봄교실에 다니는 1학년 아동 40명이며, 2019년 10월 7일부터 2019년 11월 22일까지 실험집단 20명에게는 동화를 활용한 통합적 안전교육을 14회기 실시하였고 비교집단 20명에게는 학교안전계획에 근거한 안전교육활동을 14회기 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 21.0을 활용하여 공변량 분석을 실시하였으며 연구결과, 동화를 활용한 통합적 안전교육활동이 초등돌봄 1학년 아동의 안전지식과 안전문제 해결능력에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 나타났다. 안전지식의 하위영역 중 생활안전, 놀이안전, 교통안전, 대인안전, 환경안전, 재난ㆍ재해안전 요인에서, 그리고 안전문제해결능력의 하위영역인 안전하게 놀이하기, 교통안전 규칙 지키기, 비상시 적절하게 대처하기에서 실험집단의 결과가 비교집단에 비해 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 이 같은 결과는 동화를 활용한 통합적 안전교육활동이 초등돌봄 1학년 아동을 위한 효과적인 안전교육활동임을 의미하며, 본 연구는 초등돌봄 안전교육프로그램의 내실화를 위한 기초자료를 제공했다는 점에서 시사하는 바가 있다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of integrated safety educational activities using Picture Books on safety knowledge and safety problem solving ability of first-year elementary care children. The subjects of the study were 20 children in the first grade of primary care attending elementary care classes located in Seoul. The research period was from October 7, 2019 to November 22, 2019. The collected data were statistically processed and analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 program to find out the impact on safety knowledge and safety problem solving ability according to the research problem. Covariate analysis was conducted using pre-test scores for safety knowledge and safety problem solving ability as covariates. In addition, the reliability of the safety knowledge and safety problem-solving ability test tool of primary care first-year children was verified through Cronbach s α coefficient. As a result of the study, integrated safety education activities using fairy tales solve the safety knowledge and safety problems of first-year elementary care children. It was found that there were significant differences in all sub-factors except fire safety. It can be seen that the research results have a positive effect on safety knowledge and safety problem solving ability. This means that integrated safety education activities using fairy tales can be utilized as effective educational activities that can enhance safety knowledge and safety problem solving ability of first-year elementary care children.
