영유아 및 기관대상 아동참여권 관련 연구 동향분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 영유아 및 기관 대상 아동참여권 관련 연구동향을 분석함으로써, 영유아의 아동권리 인식과 실천을 위한 새로운 이해와 방향을 모색하는데 있어 중요한 시사점을 찾고자 한다. 이를 위해 아동 참여권 관련 논문이 처음 발표 된 1996년 이후부터 2020년 12월 까지 발표된 논문 70편을 선정하여 연구동향을 분석하였다. 분석은 기술적 분석과 연구 내용 분석으로 실시하였고, 그 결과 연구대상, 연구방법, 참여권 행사 맥락, 연구목적, 자료수집방법 등 영유아 인권에 대한 사회적 인식과 관심의 변화에 따라 시기별 차이가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 최근 5년 간 전체 논문의 64.3%의 연구가 진행되어, 영유아 참여권 증진을 위한 이론적 토대를 다지고, 현황을 분석 하고, 측정하고, 영향을 알아보는 연구내용과 함께 프로그램 개발 및 진행 등의 실행연구가 늘어나는 등 다방면의 연구가 진행되고 있음이 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 영유아 참여권 보장을 위한 실질적 연구와, 일상 경험 속에서 영유아 참여권 신장을 위한 방안모색, 영유아를 둘러싼 구성원 교육프로그램개발 및 제도적 지원 방안 모색 관련 연구의 필요성이 제기되었다.

영문 초록

This study aims to find important implications in seeking new understanding and directions for recognizing and implementing children’s rights, specifically infants’ and toddlers’, by analyzing research trends related to children’s participation rights in early childhood and in institutions. To this end, this study analyzed the research trends of 70 papers published from 1996, in which the paper on the children’s participation rights was first published, to December 2020. The analysis was conducted through technical analysis and research content analysis, and as a result, differences in each period of time were found due to changes in social awareness and interest in the children’s rights through analysis of research subject, research method, context in exercising participation rights, research purpose, and data collection method. 64.3% of the published papers have been researched over the last five years. These papers have laid the theoretical foundation for promoting the children’s participation rights, analyzed and measured the current status of the children’s participation rights, and identified the impact of the findings. This study confirmed that various research has been conducted, with the increasing number of action research on the development and progress of educational programs. These findings raised the need for practical research to guarantee the children’s participation rights, finding ways to promote the children’s participation rights in daily experiences, development of educational programs for members surrounding the children, and research to seek plans for institutional support.
