「교사론」수업 과정에서 나타난 대학생들의 교직에 대한 인식 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 「교사론」 수업 과정에서 나타난 대학생들의 교직에 관한 인식을 분석하는 것이다. 연구 대상은 2019년에 실시된 교육학과 전공 수업인 「교사론」 강의에 참여한 학생들이며, 이들이 제작한 스마트폰 영화의 주제와 수업 과정에서 작성한 수업 성찰문을 주요 연구 자료로 수집하였다. 자료에서 교직에 대한 인식과 관련하여 유의미하게 발견되는 학습 경험에 대하여, 특정 주제에 관한 기본단위로 분류하고 범주를 선정하여 세부 내용을 분석하되, ‘수업 전의 인식’과 ‘수업 후의 인식’으로 나누어 변화 과정을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 대학생들은 초ㆍ중ㆍ고등학생 시기에는 다소 거리를 두고 “관람객”과 같은 학생의 관점에서 교사를 바라보고, “이상적인 존재”로도 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 관점은 「교사론」수업을 거치면서 학창 시절의 교직에 대한 추상적인 관점에서 교사의 ‘현장 및 현실에 대한 관점’으로의 확장, 교사의 힘든 점에 대한 “공감”, 교사의 역할 및 교직의 의미에 대한 성찰로 이어졌고, ‘교직’에 대한 관점에서 나아가 ‘교육’에 대한 고민으로 발전되는 것으로 분석되었다. 대학생들이 타 직업군에 비해 교사를 많이 만나고 경험하였으나, 이로 인해 교사에 대한 인식이 미성숙한 학생의 관점에서 형성되고 이에 머무르는 경향이 있었다. ‘교육을 위한 교사’의 관점이 「교사론」과 같은 대학 수업을 통해 형성되는 경험을 하고 있으며, 영화 제작과 교사 면담과 같은 방법이 이를 촉진할 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the perception of teaching profession by university students in the course of the “Teaches class. The subjects of the study were students who participated in the “Teaches class, a major subject in department of education held in 2019, and collected the subjects of the smartphone movies they produced and the reflective journals for class as major research materials. For the learning experiences found significantly in relation to the perception of teaching in the data, the details were analyzed by classifying them into basic units on a particular topic and selecting categories. The process of change was analyzed by dividing it into ‘pre-class perception and ‘post-class perception . According to the study result, university students looked at teachers from the perspective of students such as “audience with some distance during elementary, middle and high school years, and recognized them as “ideal beings . This view was analyzed to extend from an abstract perspective on teaching in school days to an “perspective on field and reality , to reflection on teachers’ difficulties, roles and meaning of teaching, and it started from a teacher s point of view, but developed from an educational perspective. This shows that university students have met and experienced teachers more than other occupations, but this tends to form and stay in the perspective of immature students. It suggests that the perspective of “teacher for education is formed through university classes such as “teachers”, and that methods such as film-making and teacher interviews can facilitate this.
