실용음악교육에 대한 특수교사 인식 및 연수 프로그램 모형 개발 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 특수학교(급) 내 음악교육과 실용음악교육에 관한 교사의 인식과 요구를 분석하여 특수교사를 대상으로 한 실용음악교육 교사 연수 프로그램을 개발·제안함으로써 교육 현장에서 활용될 수 있는 실용음악교육 방안을 제시하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 개발한 설문과 연수 프로그램은 전문가 집중 인터뷰를 통해 검증받았고, 특수교사 51명을 대상으로 설문을 진행했으며, 특수교사 3명을 선정하여 사후 심층 인터뷰를 실시했다. 설문 결과 학생과 교사들을 위한 실용음악교육의 필요성에 대한 인식은 각각 80.4%, 86.3%로 긍정적으로 응답되었다. 실용음악교육의 기대효과는 학생들의 자존감 및 성취감 향상, 교사의 창의적 수업 역량 강화가 가장 높게 나타났다. 분석에서 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 개발한 ‘특수학교(급)에서 활용 가능한 실용음악교육 직무 연수’는 총 21시간으로 이론, 실기, 토론 및 발표로 구성되었다. 1차는 실용음악 이해 및 체험, 2차는 교과과정 내 실용음악교육 적용 방안, 3차는 장애영역별 교육에서의 실용음악 활용 방안에 관한 교육으로 구성했고 이를 통한 확장 가능성을 제언했다. 이처럼 지속적으로 교사의 인식에 주목하여 다양한 실용음악교육을 시행함으로써 학생들에게 제공되는 음악교육의 범위를 확장시킬 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to present applied music education methods that can be used in the field of education by developing and proposing applied music education teacher training programs for special teachers. The study involved analyzing teachers’ perceptions and demands on music education and applied music education in special schools. The survey and training programs developed were verified through intensive interviews with experts. We surveyed 51 special teachers and selected three special teachers for in-depth post interviews. We found that 80.4 percent and 86.3 percent, respectively, answered positively on the need for applied music education for students and teachers. The expected effects of applied music education were the highest in improving students’ self-esteem and achievement and in strengthening teachers’ creative teaching abilities. The “practical music education job training that can be used in special schools(classes)” developed based on the results derived from the analysis consisted of theory, practical skills, discussion, and presentation for a total of 21 hours. The first was composed of practical music understanding and experience. The second was a plan to apply practical music education in the curriculum. The third was education on how to use practical music in education for each area of disability, and the possibility of expansion was suggested. It is necessary to expand the scope of music education provided to students by implementing various methods of applied music education by paying attention to teachers’ perceptions continuously.
