국문 초록

본 연구는 인간의 고유한 특성 중 창의성과 융합적 사고능력을 함양하는 교육 방향을 탐색하는 데에 목적을 두고 있다. 우리는 4차 산업혁명 시대를 준비하면서 새롭게 발생하고 있는 사회현상과 빠르게 변하는 직업 구조 변화를 직면하고 있다. 이러한 시대 변화의 맥락에서 인간이 가진 대체 불가능한 고유성을 찾고 이에 맞는 자질을 갖춘 인재상을 길러내야 할 과제를 안고 있다. 이를 위해 개별 학문의 영역에서 다룬 이미지 사고에 관한 논의와 교육적 활용사례를 살펴봄으로써 그 방향성과 교육적 가능성을 찾아보고자 한다. 이미지 사고는 학습에 몰입도를 높이며 다수 학생들의 참여를 유도하고 독창적 해석을 도우면서도 타인의 의견을 유연하게 수용하도록 한다. 이처럼 이미지 사고의 교육적 접목은 복합적인 정보를 장기적으로 기억하도록 도우며 훈련과정은 많은 도구가 없이도 풍성한 메시지를 찾아낼 수 있게 해준다. 이러한 사례들을 통해 이미지 사고를 활용한 교육의 방안을 제도적인 차원에서 구조화하고 실현함으로써 이미지 사고가 창의융합 교육에 실질적인 방법으로 자리매김하게 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to navigate the educational direction to foster a convergence of thinking skills and creativity of the unique human characteristics. As we prepare for the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, we are facing new social phenomena and rapidly changing job structures. In the context of such changing times, we have the homework to find the irreplaceable uniqueness of humans and groom talented individuals with matching qualities. To this end, I seek to find out the direction and potentiality of education by examining the discussions on image thinking and educational use cases dealt with in individual discipline. Image thinking increases immersion in learning, induces the participation of many students, helps creative interpretation, and allows for the flexible acceptance of others opinions. Thus, the educational grafting of image thinking helps us to remember complex information for a long time, and the training process allows us to find rich messages without using many tools. Through these examples, image thinking will become a practical tool in creative fusion education by structuring and realizing the educational plan using image thinking at the institutional level.
