영유아 안전교육을 위한 보육교사의 핵심역량 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 영유아 안전교육 강화를 위해 보육교사에게 요구되는 핵심역량 요인을 델파이 조사를 통하여 도출하고자 하였다. 이에 영유아 안전교육을 위한 보육교사의 역량에 대한 선행연구를 비교·분석하여 초안을 작성하고 전문가 패널의 의견을 수렴하여 영유아 안전교육을 위한 보육교사의 핵심역량 요인을 도출하였다. 이를 위해 관련분야 전문가 패널 20명을 대상으로 2019년 9월 30일부터 2019년 12월 27일까지 13주간 총 3차에 걸쳐 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 전문지식, 지도기술, 개인특성, 교육운영의 4개 영역과 24개의 핵심역량 요인이 도출되었다. 첫째, 전문지식은 안전사고 대비교육 실시, 성폭력 예방교육, 영유아의 발달특성에 대한 이해능력으로 구성되었다. 둘째, 지도기술은 동영상 시청을 활용한 안전교육, 일상생활에서 반복적 교육, 사전교육 의식의 중요성으로 구성되었다. 셋째, 개인특성은 높은 책임감, 응급상황 시 대처할 수 있도록 경각심을 갖는 자질, 안전사고 시 업무 분담을 인지하고 실행, 영유아 의무 안전교육을 실천하려는 교사의 태도, 실질적 안전교육을 진행하기 위한 노력하는 교사로서의 자세로 구성되었다. 넷째, 교육운영은 영유아의 발달 특성을 고려, 안전교육 실시 후 영유아의 반응을 고려 이후 교육계획에 참고·반영, 일과 계획에 안전교육을 연계하여 계획, 생활주제 및 소주제와 연계, 안전교육을 실시하기 전 수준 및 흥미에 맞게 안전교육 계획, 보육사업안내지침에 따라 어린이집 자체 안전점검 계획을 수립으로 구성되었다. 이 연구에서 개발된 영유아 안전교육을 위한 보육교사의 핵심역량의 체계는 향후 관련 연구나 후속 연구에서 활용할 수 있는 근거를 마련하였고 중요한 참고자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to draw out and enhance the key competence factors in safety education required for early childhood teachers through Delphi study. For the ability of early childhood teachers needed for the infant safety education, drafts were written accordingly through comparisons·analysis in prior studies and key capacity factors of early childhood teachers for infant safety education were come up with the opinions of the experts. To this end, twenty experts in the relevant field were asked to come into implement in the Delphi study for thirteen weeks through a total of three times, which was from January 30th, 2019 to December 27th, 2019. For the results of the study, four different areas, which are expertise, guidance skills, personal characteristics, and education operation, and twenty-four key capacity factors were derived. First, the expertise is consisted of prepare for safety accidents, sexual violence prevention education, and ability to understand the developmental characteristics of infants. Second, the cartographic technique is consisted of safety education using videos, repetitive education in everyday life, and the importance of pre-education consciousness. Third, personal characteristics are consisted of high responsibility, the quality of being alert in case of an emergency, the early childhood teacher s attitude to recognize the division of work in the event of a safety accident and implement the compulsory safety education for infants and children, and attitude as a early childhood teacher striving for practical safety education. Fourth, education operation is consisted of considering the developmental characteristics of infants and the responses of them after safety education is provoked, to refer to·reflect to the link of safety education and the work plan, linking to the topics of daily life and small subjects, planning safety educations according to the level and interest of the infants, and establishing a plan for the safety education of early childhood care centers according to the child-care plan. The systems of competence of early childhood teachers developed for infant safety education in this study are looking forward to become a basis and an important reference for future or follow-up studies.
