교사학습공동체를 활용한 교육실습 운영: 실습지도교사들의 역할 수행과 경험

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사학습공동체를 구성하여 교육실습을 운영하는 실습지도교사들의 실습지도교사 역할에 대한 인식과 수행, 그리고 교사학습공동체가 실습지도교사의 역할 수행과 경험에 어떠한 영향을 주었는지 살펴본 연구이다. 본 연구를 위해 자발적으로 교사학습공동체를 구성하여 교육실습을 운영하는 4개 학교 실습지도교사 41명을 대상으로 2019년 9월-11월에 걸쳐 설문조사와 인터뷰를 진행한 후 양적, 질적 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 교사학습공동체에 소속된 실습지도교사들은 자신의 역할에 대한 인식과 역할 수행이 상당히 높았으며, 둘째, 역할 수행에 대한 교사학습공동체의 영향에 대해 역시 높은 긍정의 반응을 보였다. 셋째, 학교, 성별, 경력에 따른 실습지도교사 역할 인식, 수행, 공동체의 영향 평균값을 분석했으나 성별을 제외하고는 학교, 경력에 따른 평균값은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 한편, 개방형 질문 분석 결과 실습지도교사들은 교사학습공동체 안에서 다양한 형태의 교사학습 즉, 개인 학습, 사회적 학습, 성찰적 학습을 경험하고 있었으며 인지적·정서적인 도움을 받았다고 응답하였다. 교사학습공동체를 활용한 교육실습 운영에 대한 장, 단점과 교사로서의 성장에 대한 경험을 제시하였으며, 효율적인 교육실습 운영을 위한 제도적, 교육적, 행정적 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study examines the perceptions and performances of the role of cooperating teachers(CTs) who are operating educational practice by forming teacher learning community(TLC), and how the TLC influenced the performance and experience of the CTs. For this study, four schools that voluntarily formed TLC and operated educational practice were selected. Based on the previous research and literature analysis, the roles of CTs were set as a teaching and learning expert, an educational practice operator, a communicator, and a teacher researcher. A total of 36 questionnaires were developed. A total of 41 teachers in four schools were surveyed and interviewed for quantitative and qualitative analysis. As a result of the analysis, first, the CTs, who belonging to the TLC had a very high recognition of their role and the role performance. Second, the CTs showed positive responses to the influence of the TLC on the role performance. Third, school, gender, and teaching career did not have a statistically significant effect on the performance of the CTs. On the other hand, the results of the open question analysis showed that the CTs experienced various types of teacher learning in the TLC, namely, self-directed learning, social learning, and reflective learning, and received cognitive and emotional support. Based on the result of this study, institutional, educational, and administrative plans for efficient educational practice management are suggested.
