국문 초록

본 연구는 감정코칭을 활용한 역할놀이 활동이 유아의 정서지능과 및 사회적 기술에 미치는 효과를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 J시에 소재한 P병설유치원과 S병설유치원의 만3,4세 혼합반 28명(실험집단 14명, 통제집단 14명)이며, 역할놀이 활동은 2019년 4월 29일부터 7월 19일까지 12주 동안 동화책 탐색, 동화책듣기, 역할소품 만들기, 역할놀이 및 평가, 확장 및 연계활동 중심으로 1주를 기본단위로 실시하였다. 실험집단은 감정코칭 5단계를 활용한 역할놀이를 실시하였으며, 통제집단은 누리과정에 기초한 역할놀이를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 유아의 정서지능과 사회적 기술에 대한 효과를 검증하고자 독립표본 t검정과 공분산분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 역할놀이 활동에 참여한 실험집단 유아들의 정서지능과 사회적 기술 점수가 통제집단 유아들보다 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 이는 감정코칭을 활용한 역할놀이 활동이 유아교육현장에서 정서지능과 사회적 기술을 효과적으로 증진하는 교수학습방법임을 알 수 있으며 체계적이고 지속적으로 프로그램을 활용한다면 유아의 정서지능과 사회적 기술 발달이 향상될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of role play using emotion-coaching on young children’s emotional intelligence and social skill. The subjects of this study were 28 students (14 in the experimental group and 14 in the control group) in one class mixed with children’s ages ranging between the 3 and 4 at the P kindergarten and S kindergarten in J-city. This study was conducted a total of 12 times from 29 April to 19 July 2019 and focused on activities such as, listening to fairy tales, exploring fairy tales, making role props, playing roles, evaluating, expanding and connecting. The experimental group performed a role play activity using five stages of emotion-coaching, while the control group performed a role play activity based on the Nuri process. The data analysis was based on the independent sample t-test and covariance analysis to verify the effects of the young children s emotional intelligence and social skills using the SPSS 25.0 program. it was shown that the emotional intelligence and social skill scores of the experimental group of children involved in the role play using emotion-coaching, significantly improved compared to that of the control group. Therefore, role play using emotion-coaching as a teaching-learning method that effectively promotes emotional intelligence and social skills of young children in the field of young children education, and if the program is systematically and continuously utilized, the development of emotional intelligence and social skills in children will improve.
