목적 본 연구는 디지털 전환의 시대에 균형잡힌 디지털 시민성 교육을 위해 대학생의 학습참여, 교양교육 만족도, 디지털 리터러시가 디지털 시민성에 미치는 영향이 어떠한지 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 이를 위해 2023년 5월 20일부터 6월 15일까지 인천광역시에 위치한 4년제 I 대학의 재학생 390명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고 SPSS 29.0을 사용하여 Pearson 적률상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 학습참여의 고차원·통합적 학습, 교수·학생 상호작용 그리고 디지털 리터러시의 데이터 분석, 학습활용 경험, 디지털숙련도가 디지털 시민성 인지영역의 65%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학습참여의 고차원·통합적 학습, 효과적인 교수, 능동적·협동적 학습, 다양한 집단과 토론, 학습전략 그리고 교양교육 만족도, 디지털 리터러시의 학습활용 경험이 디지털 시민성 정의영역의 60%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학습참여의 고차원·통합적 학습, 능동적·협동적 학습, 다양한 집단과 토론, 학습전략 그리고 교양교육 만족도, 디지털 리터러시의 학습활용 경험이 디지털 시민성 행동영역의 67%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구 결과는 학부교육 차원에서 디지털 시민성 함양을 위한 교육을 설계하고 교육의 효과성을 제고하는 데 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to examine the influence of university students' learning engagement, satisfaction with liberal arts education, and digital literacy on cultivating a balanced digital citizenship education in the era of digital transformation. Methods From May 20 to June 15, 2023, a survey was conducted involving 390 undergraduate students at University I, located in Incheon Metropolitan City. The data were analyzed using Pearson's product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis in SPSS 29.0. Results Firstly, it was revealed that high-order and integrated learning in learning engagement, professor-student interaction, and data analysis, learning utilization experience, and digital proficiency collectively explained 65% of the cognitive domain of digital citizenship. Secondly, high-order and integrated learning in learning engagement, effective teaching, active and cooperative learning, diverse group discussions, learning strategies, satisfaction with liberal arts education, and learning utilization experience in digital literacy explained 60% of the normative domain of digital citizenship. Thirdly, high-order and integrated learning in learning engagement, active and cooperative learning, diverse group discussions, learning strategies, satisfaction with liberal arts education, and learning utilization experience in digital literacy explained 67% of the behavioral domain of digital citizenship. Conclusions The findings of this study suggest that the results can be utilized to design education for cultivating digital citizenship at the undergraduate level and enhance the effectiveness of education in this regard.
