국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 사회적 역량이 다문화 청소년의 문화적응스트레스와 삶의 만족도 사이의 관계를 매개하는지를 검증하고, 이에 기반하여 다문화 청소년의 교육상담적 함의를 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위해 다문화청소년패널조사(MAPS) 2기의 1차년도 2,271명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 본 연구에서 시행된 유의미한 데이터 확보를 위해 주요 해당 변인들 간의 기술 통계 및 상관분석을 하였고, SPSS Process Macro 분석을 통해서 매개효과를 확인하였다. SPSS Process Macro의 부트스트래핑 시행을 통해 매개효과 유의성을 확인하였다. 결과 이 연구결과를 요약하자면, 첫째, 문화적응스트레스와 삶의 만족도의 관계는 부적으로 유의한 관계를, 사회적 역량과 삶의만족도 관계는 정적으로 유의한 관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 문화적응스트레스와 사회적 역량의 관계는 부적으로 유의한 관계를 나타냈다. 마지막으로, 문화적응스트레스와 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 사회적 역량의 매개효과가 유의미하게 나타났다. 결론 이 결과를 근거로 문화적응스트레스 하에서 다문화 청소년의 삶의 만족도를 높이기 위해서 사회적 역량의 촉진를 위한 교육및 상담에 관한 다양한 전략적 개입의 수립 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aimed to verify whether social competency mediate the relationship between acculturative stress and life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents and to seek implications for educational counseling. Methods For this purpose selected 2,271 adolescents from multicultural families as the analysis target in the first year of the second MAPS. For deriving meaningful data conducted this study descriptive statistics and correlation analysis between main relevant variables through SPSS. The mediating effect analysis was checked through SPSS Process Macro, and the significance of mediating was identified through bootstrapping function of SPSS Process Macro. Results To summarize the results of this study, first, it appeared that acculturative stress has a negative effect on life satisfaction, and social competency has a positive effect on life satisfaction. Second, it appeared that acculturative stress has a negative effect on social competency. Finally, the mediating effect of social competency was significant in the relationship between acculturative stress and life satisfaction. Conclusions Based on these results, this study proposes that the need to establish various strategic interventions regarding education and counseling to promote social competence in order to increase the life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents under acculturative stress.
