국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 대학생의 정신화가 우울에 미치는 영향에서 정서인식 명확성의 매개효과와 사회적 지지의 조절된 매개효과를확인하고자 하였다. 방법 연구 가설 검증을 위해 서울 및 수도권 소재 대학생 300명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였으며, SPSS 24.0 프로그램의Process Macro Model 4를 적용하여 정신화와 우울 간 관계에서 정서인식 명확성의 매개효과를 검증하고, Model 14를 적용하여사회적 지지의 조절된 매개효과를 검증하였다. 결과 정신화와 우울 간 관계에서 정서인식 명확성의 매개효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 또한, 정신화와 정서인식 명확성이 우울에 미치는 영향을 사회적 지지가 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 정신화가 정서인식 명확성을 거쳐 우울에 미치는 영향은 사회적 지지에따라 유의미하게 달라지며, 조절효과의 양상을 살펴보았을 때 사회적 지지가 높은 경우 정서인식 명확성이 낮아도 우울을 덜 경험함이 나타났다. 결론 정신화는 정서인식 명확성을 통해 우울에 영향을 미치며, 이러한 영향은 사회적 지지를 통해 조절될 수 있다. 즉, 정신화 기능에손상을 입은 내담자의 우울을 완화하기 위해 정서인식 명확성에 대한 개입뿐 아니라, 사회적 지지를 활용하는 것이 유익함을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of emotional clarity and the moderated mediating effect of social support on the relationship between mentalization and depression in university students. Methods To test the research hypotheses, an online survey was conducted with 300 university students in Seoul and the metropolitan area. Using the Process Macro Model 4 in SPSS 24.0, we verified the mediating effect of emotional clarity in the relationship between mentalization and depression, and using Model 14, we verified the moderated mediating effect of social support. Results The mediating effect of emotional clarity in the relationship between mentalization and depression was found to be significant. Furthermore, it was revealed that mentalization affects depression through emotional clarity, and this effect is moderated by social support. In other words, the impact of mentalization on depression through emotional clarity varies significantly depending on social support. When examining the pattern of moderation effects, it was found that in cases of high social support, individuals experience less depression even when their emotional clarity is low. Conclusions Mentalization affects depression through emotional clarity, and this effect can be moderated by social support. This implies that interventions targeting emotional clarity or utilizing social support can alleviate depression in individuals with impaired mentalization functioning
