기혼 여성 상담자의 전문성 발달 경험에 관한 현상학 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 기혼 여성 상담자들이 전문성을 가지는 과정에서 겪은 어려움과 기혼 여성 상담자가 가지는 상담의 전문성이 무엇을 의미하는지를 탐색하기 위한 연구를 진행하였다. 방법 본 연구의 목적을 위해 Giorgi의 현상학 연구를 실시하였으며, 9명의 기혼 여성 상담자들을 대상으로 2021년 11월부터 2022년 2월까지 두 차례에 걸쳐 면담을 진행하였다. 수집된 자료에 대해서는 전체적 인식, 의미 단위로 분석, 학문적 용어로 옮김, 의미단위로 통합하는 과정을 통한 자료 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 그 결과, ‘대학원 입문동기’, ‘기혼 여성으로서의 어려움’, ‘전문가의 기준을 맞추기 위한 노력’, ‘상담전문성에 대한 재평가’, ‘스스로의 변화를 지각함’의 5개의 상위 구성요소와 그 안에 16개의 하위구성요소, 41개의 의미단위 구성요소를 도출하였다. 결론 본 연구는 가부장적 사회에서 기혼 여성 상담자들이 전문성을 가지는 과정에서 겪는 어려움이 어떠한 것인지를 탐색하고, 기혼 여성 상담자들에게 상담학 전문성을 가지는 본질적인 의미를 탐구하는 것에 의의를 가진다. 이는 기혼 여성 상담자들의 비율이 높은 상담학 분야에서 의미 있는 자료가 될 것이라고 예상한다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, a study was conducted to explore the difficulties experienced by married female counselors in the process of having expertise and what the professionalism of counseling of married female counselors means. Methods For the purpose of this study, Giorgi's phenomenological research was conducted, and interviews were conducted twice from November 2021 to February 2022 with nine married female counselors. For the collected data, data analysis was conducted through the process of overall recognition, analysis in semantic units, translation into academic terminology, and integration into semantic units. Results As a result, ‘Motivation for entering graduate school’, ‘Difficulty as a married woman’, ‘Efforts to meet the standards of experts’, ‘Expertise in counseling expertise’ 5 upper components of ‘re-evaluation of self’ and ‘perception of one's own change’, 16 sub-components, and 41 semantic unit components were derived. Conclusions This study has significance in exploring the difficulties that married female counselors experience in the process of professionalism in a patriarchal society, and in exploring the essential meaning of having counseling expertise for married female counselors. This is expected to be a meaningful data in the field of counseling, where the proportion of married female counselors is high.
