청각장애인의 읽기 이해력 관련 연구 동향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 청각장애인의 읽기 이해력에 관련된 국내의 연구 동향을 형태적, 내용적으로 분석함으로써 후속 연구의 체계적인 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 국내 데이터 베이스에서 준거에 의해 분석 논문을 선정한 결과 최종 28편의 논문이 선정되었다. 선정된 논문을 연구 대상에 따른 연구 시기, 연구 유형, 연구 주제로 교차 분석하고, 연구 내용을 세분화하여 정리하였다. 결과 연구의 형태적 분석으로 연구 시기에 따른 편수는 2012년 이후부터 연구 편수가 현저히 줄어드는 추세였다. 연구 방법은 중재연구가 가장 많았으며, 연구 주제는 읽기 이해와 관련된 읽기 요인, 읽기 이해와 관련된 읽기 지도, 읽기 이해와 읽기 활동으로 나눌 수 있다. 연구 내용에서는 읽기 이해에 대해 대상의 개인적 요인과 외적 요인으로 나눌 수 있으며, 읽기 지도에서는 이해점검기반 지도, 어휘기반 지도, 시각적 인지 전략 활용지도, 교수법 모형에 따른 읽기 지도로 분류된다. 읽기 활동에서는 시각적 자료인 그림책을 활용한 활동이 주로 이루어지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 앞으로 국내 청각장애인 대상 읽기 이해력 연구는 청각장애인의 개인적 요인과 외적 요인을 고려하여 대상의 인지 전략적 특성을 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 한 지도 방법을 확장해 나가는 것이 필요하다고 판단된다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study were presenting the direction of research by identifying the overall research trend and research topic of papers related to reading comprehension for the deaf and hard-of-hearing in Korea. Methods As a result of selection based on the paper selection criteria in the domestic database, 28 papers were finally selected. The thesis was cross-analyzed according to the research subject, research period, research type, and research topic, and the research content was subdivided and organized. Results As a result of the analysis, in the overall trend, the number of studies after 2012 decreased significantly compared to studies from 2001 to 2011. Intervention studies were the most common research methods, and research topics could be divided into factors related to reading comprehension, reading instruction, and reading activities. In research content, factors related to reading comprehension can be divided into personal factors and external factors, and reading instruction can be divided into understanding check-based instruction, vocabulary-based instruction, visual cognitive strategies based instruction, and reading instruction according to the pedagogical model. In reading activities, it was found that activities using visual materials were mainly performed. Conclusions As for the direction of research on reading comprehension for the deaf and hard-of-hearing in Korea, it is judged that it is necessary to expand the characteristics of cognitive strategies and the method of teaching strategies by considering the personal and external factors of the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
