대학의 학습자 중심 교수법 연구 동향

국문 초록

목적 대학의 학습자 중심 교수법이 활용된 교육과정, 연구분야, 연구방법을 비교하여 학습자 중심 교수법 적용의 기초를 마련하고자 한다. 방법 최근 5년간 고등교육에서 문제해결과 관련되며 국내 등재지에 게재된 493편을 연구목적에 적합한 분석 틀을 설정하여 분석하였다. 분석 틀은 교수법, 교육과정, 학문분야, 연구방법, 적용환경이다. 결과 첫째, 학습자 중심 교수법의 연구 동향 분석에서 2016년부터 2020년까지 연구가 매년 증가하고 있으며 PBL(문제중심학습) 연구가 가장 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 둘째, 교육과정별 연구 동향에서 교양교육 및 기타(비교과 등) 교육보다 전공교육에서 활발하게 적용되고 있었다. 학문분야별 분석결과 사회과학계열에서 학습자 중심 교수법이 가장 많이 활용하였고, 그 중에서 PBL을 가장 많이 활용하였다. 연구방법별 분석결과 효과연구가 가장 많았고, 교양교육에서는 사례연구, 전공교육에서는 효과연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌다. 적용환경별로는 오프라인 환경에서 적용된 연구가 많았다. 결론 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 학습자 중심 교수법 활용에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to find for research trends of learner centered teaching methods. Methods For this purpose, a total of 493 academic papers relating to the problem solving in the last five years were analyzed by the year of publication, teaching method, curriculum of course, academic field, research area, subject area and application environment. Results The results of the analysis are as follows: First, looking at the trends of research related to learner centered teaching methods, research was increasing every year from 2016 to 2020, and PBL(Problem based Learning) was most actively conducted. Next, it was confirmed that research in major curriculum was more than liberal arts and others. By academic field, action learning methods were most used in social sciences and PBL was most applied. By research area, Efficacy studies were carried out the most by research method and it was studied in major curriculum. Case studies was many in liberal arts. By application environment, many studies were applied in offline environment. Conclusions Based on these results, the study suggested the educational implications and research direction necessary for the learner centered teaching methods in the future.
