고등학생의 교육성과에 관한 잠재계층 유형 및 영향요인

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 고등학생들의 교육성과 변수를 선정하고 잠재계층을 분류하여 이에 영향요인을 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 연구를 위한 자료는 대구교육 종단연구(Daegu Education Longitudinal Study, 이하 DELS) 4차 데이터를 이용하였고, 남학생 970명, 여학생 891명 총 1,861명을 대상으로 하였다. 잠재계층 분류에 따른 영향요인 탐색을 위해 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 잠재계층은 ‘교육성과 하유형’(23.5%), ‘학성성취 하유형’(29.6%), ‘교육성과 중유형’(25.9%), ‘교육성과 상유형’(21.1%)으로 분류되었다. 결론 잠재계층에 미치는 영향요인은 도덕성, 자아존중감, 학업적 자기효능감, 부모의 교육적 지원, 자녀관계, 친구관계, 교사의 피드백, 학교의 진로경험이 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 학생들의 전인적인 성장을 위해 유의미한 영향을 주는 요인을 탐색하여 학생들의 특성에 맞는 교육 방법이 무엇인지를 연구하는데 많은 시사점을 제공할 것이라 여겨진다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, the educational performance variables of high school students were selected and the potential class was classified and the factors influencing them were analyzed. Methods For this purpose, the 4th data of the Daegu Education Longitudinal Study (DELS) were used as the data for the study, and 970 male students and 891 female students were targeted at a total of 1,861 people. Multinomial logistic regression analysis was conducted to search for influencing factors according to the classification of the latent class. Results The potential class was classified into ‘educational performance lower type’ (23.5%), ‘academic performance lower type’ (29.6%), ‘education performance middle type’ (25.9%), and ‘education performance higher type’ (21.1%). Conclusions Factors influencing the potential class were found to have an effect on morality, self-esteem, academic self-efficacy, parents' educational support, child relations, friendship, teacher feedback, and school career experience. It is believed that it will provide many implications for studying what educational methods are suitable for students' characteristics by exploring factors that have a significant impact on their overall growth.
