어머니와 유아교육 교수자가 엮어낸 그림책 육아 모임의 실현 과정 및 변화

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니와 유아교육 교수자가 함께 만들어간 그림책 육아 모임의 실현 과정 및 그 과정에서 드러난 이들의 변화를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 방법 연구 참여자는 평소 그림책과 그림책 육아에 관심이 많았던 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니 3명과 약 10년 동안 대학에서 부모교육과 아동문학교육 교과목을 담당하고 있는 유아교육 교수자였다. 또한 이들을 대상으로 관찰 및 개별⋅집단면담을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 어머니들과 유아교육 교수자가 엮어낸 그림책 육아 모임의 실현 과정은 어머니와 유아교육 교수자간의 협력기반 다지고 실행하기로 1) 그림책 육아에 대한 고민과 기대로부터의 시작, 2) 기대하던 만남, 그리고 긍정적 관계 맺기, 3) 공유⋅실천을 토대로 함께 모임 엮어 나아가기, 4) 성취감 느끼기, 그리고 또 다른 시작으로의 기대가 나타났다. 둘째, 그림책 육아 모임을 통한 어머니의 그림책 육아 실천 경험의 변화 및 유아교육 교수자의 그림책 육아 지원의 변화가 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 그림책 육아와 관련하여 보다 바람직한 부모교육의 방향성을 제시하기 위한 기초자료가 되길 기대하며, 평소 그림책 육아에 대해 많은 관심과 고민을 가진 부모와 교육자의 교육적 삶에도 도움이 되길 바란다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to explore the realization process and change of picture books parenting meeting weaved by mothers of young children and a professor of the Dept. of early childhood education. Methods The study participants were three mothers who participated in the picture book parenting meeting and a professor of the Dept. of early childhood education who was in charge of parent education and children's literature education for more than 10 years at a university. Data were analyzed for researcher's observation, individual and group interviews, discussion during picture books parenting meeting. Results According to the results of the study, First, it appeared as establishing a foundation for cooperation and implementing between mothers and a professor of the Dept. of early childhood education : 1) starting from worries and expectations, 2) meeting, and establishing a positive relationship, 3) weaving together based on sharing and practice, 4) feeling a sense of accomplishment, and the expectation of another beginning. Second, it appeared as the change in the experience of picture books parenting weaved by the study participants was shown to be a change through the mother's experience of picture books parenting and a change through the professor's support for picture books parenting. Conclusions It is hoped that this case weaved by mothers and a professor who have shared interest and concerns about picture books parenting will be a little help to the educational lives of parents and educators who have similar concerns and expectations.
