흥미의 발생과 지속을 위한 문학과 미술의 연계

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 문학과 미술의 연계를 통해 초등학생의 흥미를 유도하고 이를 지속 및 심화시킬 수 있는 교육적 융합의 방안을 모색하는 데 목적을 둔다. 방법 문헌 분석을 통해 ‘의인화된 동물’의 친숙성과 익숙함이 학생들의 흥미와 연관됨을 밝히고, 국어과와 미술과의 교육과정과 교과서를 분석하여 문자 언어만을 통한 이해와 표현에서 다룰 수 없는 감상과 표현 능력 신장을 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 결과 백석의 시 <개구리네 한솥밥>의 국어과 활동이 학생들의 흥미를 심화시키고 경험의 확장을 도모하기보다 언어적 이해에 머물렀다는 점을 확인하였다. 문학과 미술은 작품을 둘러싼 맥락을 공유하며 정서와 표현의 구체화에 상호 기여할 수 있다. 시 제재를 활용한 말놀이나 내용 파악과 관련한 활동뿐 아니라 몸의 감각 활용, 등장인물의 캐릭터와 무대 만들기, 상상놀이 등을 통한 교육적 융합 활동이 수행될 수 있음을 제시하였다. 결론 ‘의인화된 동물’을 매개로 하여 문학과 미술 활동의 교육적 융합 방안을 마련함으로써 초등학생의 흥미를 이끌고, 유지하고, 심화할 수 있는 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to find ways to induce interest in elementary school students and to continue and deepen them through the connection between literature and art. Methods The familiarity of ‘anthropomorphized animals’ were related to students' interests, and the curriculum and textbooks of the Korean language and art were analyzed to derive implications for educational design for understanding and expression that cannot be dealed with only through written language. Results It was confirmed that the Korean language activities of Baekseok's poem remained in linguistic understanding rather than deepening students' interest and expanding their experiences. Literature and art can mutually contribute to the concreteness of emotions and expressions by sharing the context surrounding the work. It was suggested that educational convergence activities can be carried out through the use of the body's senses, character and stage making, and imaginative play, as well as activities related to verbal play and content understanding using materials of poetry. Conclusions By an educational convergence plan for literature and art activities through the medium of ‘anthropomorphized animals’, specific directions were suggested to lead, maintain, and deepen the interest of elementary school students.
