한국에서 상담을 전공한 중국인 상담자의 중국 귀국 후 전문직 적응 경험

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 한국에서 상담 관련 전공 학위를 취득하여 중국으로 귀국한 중국인 상담자의 귀국 후 전문직 적응 경험을 심층적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 한국에서 상담 관련 전공 학위를 취득하였고 현재 상담 관련 직종을 종사하고 있는 귀국 전문적 경력이 최소 3개월 최대 5년 이하의 귀국 중국인 상담자 10명을 대상으로 심층적 면담을 실시하였고, CQR 연구 방법을 활용하여 면담 자료를 분석하였다. 결과 본 연구의 분석 결과, 귀국 과정에서의 경험, 한국과 중국의 상담분야 전문성 차이점에 대한 인식, 한국에서의 전문적 경험이 귀국 후 적응에 미친 영향, 전문성 향상을 위한 노력까지 총 4개의 영역이 도출되었고, 이하로 총 11개의 범주와 42개의 하위 범주가 도출되었다. 결론 귀국 중국인 상담자들의 목소리를 통해 현재 중국 상담분야의 독특성과 발전현황, 한국과 중국의 상담분야 전문성에 대한 차이점 및 귀국 중국인 상담자의 귀국 후 전문직 적응 경험의 실체를 구체적으로 밝혀냈다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한 상담 전공 중국인 상담자를 전문가로 교육적 책임을 하고 있는 교수자에게 향후 귀국을 희망하는 중국인 상담자들의 구체적인 필요와 요구를 이해하고 보다 효과적이고 실용적인 교육 프로그램을 기획하는 데 중요한 기초자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examined the professional adaptation experience of Chinese counselors who returned to China after obtaining a counseling-related major in Korea. Methods For this purpose, In-depth interviews with 10 Chinese counselors who had obtained a counseling=related major in Korea and had at lest 3 months and up to 5 years of professional experience returning to China, and the data were analyzed using the consensual qualitative analysis method. Results We derived four domains, including ‘experience in the process of returning home’, ‘recognition of differences in expertise in counseling fields between Korea and China’, ‘effect of professional experience in Korea on adaptation after returning home’, and ‘efforts to improve professionalism’, which were classified into 11 categories and 42 subcategories. Conclusions It is meaningful in that the voices of returning Chinese counselors have revealed the uniueness and development of the Chinese counseling field, the difference between Korea and China’s expertise and the reality of the Chinese counselor’s experience of adapting to the profession after returning China. It is also meaningful in that it provided important basic materials for understanding the specific needs and needs of Chinese counselors who wish to return China in the future and planning more effective and practical education programs to professors who are responsible for education.
