은유분석을 통해 본 ‘생태’에 대한 부모들의 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 은유분석을 통해 영유아기 자녀를 둔 부모들이 ‘생태’를 어떻게 인식하고 있는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 부산, 경남에 거주하는 부모 200명에게 설문을 배부하였으며, 154명이 응답하였다. 그 중 이유진술문 관련성이 적은 2부를 제외한 152부가 최종 연구 대상으로 선정되었으며, 이를 분석하고, 범주화 및 수치화하였다. 연구결과, 부모들은 ‘생태’를 함께 살아가는 것, 본연 그대로인 것, 자연과 가까운 것, 육아의 방향을 제시해주는 것, 쉼을 제공하는 것, 건강한 삶을 사는 것으로 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 부모들이 ‘생태’를 철학적 의미로 인식할 뿐만 아니라 육아와 교육의 방법으로, 생활양식이라는 실천방안의 의미로 이해하고 있음을 보여준다. 따라서 이를 기초로 생태학적 관점에 근거하여 부모들이 양육신념과 양육방법, 태도, 그리고 구체적인 실천방안에 대해 생각해볼 수 있는 계기를 마련한다는 점에 의의를 둘 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study has conducted a metaphor analysis to identify the parents awareness of ‘ecology’. For this, the data were collected from 152 parents who reside in Busan and Gyeongnam as subjects during the period between May 19 and August 12, 2016 with the data collected during the period between August 12 and September 10 used for analysis, categorization and quantification. The study has classified the types of parents awareness of ‘ecology’ into six categories as described below. First, we should live with ecology. Second, ecology retains its true nature. Third, ecology is close to nature. Fourth, ecology presents the direction and guide for childcare. Fifth, ecology provides rest. Sixth, ecology is equivalent to living a healthy life. This study finds its value and meaning in that it has found that parents awareness of ‘ecology’ identified through these research findings is so interwoven with socio-cultural aspects that ‘ecology’ provides not only the direction as to the role of parents and parenting style but also concrete ways to promote a healthy life for parents as well as their children.
