S-PBL 학습방법을 적용한 통합간호실습 교과목 운영이 간호학생의 비판적 사고 성향, 간호과정 수행능력, 핵심기본간호술 수행자신감에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 S-PBL 학습방법을 적용한 통합간호실습 교과목 운영이 간호학생의 비판적 사고 성향, 간호과정 수행능력, 핵심기본간호술 수행자신감에 미치는 효과를 확인하고자 수행되었다. 연구 설계는 단일군 사전사후설계에 의한 실험 연구로 연구대상은 G도 소재 일개 4년제 대학 간호학과 4학년 학생 54명이었으며 연구 기간은 2016년 4월 27일부터 2016년 6월 22일까지였다. 연구 결과 S-PBL 학습방법을 적용한 통합간호실습 교과목 운영 후 비판적 사고 성향(t=-5.30, p<.001), 간호과정 수행능력(t=-6.40, p<.001), 핵심기본간호술 수행자신감(t=-7.32, p<.001)의 점수가 모두 사전에 비해 사후에 유의하게 증가하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 S-PBL를 적용한 통합실습 교과목 운영이 간호학생들의 비판적 사고 능력과 간호과정 수행능력을 향상시키고 핵심기본간호술에 대한 자신감을 높이는 데 효과가 있음이 확인되었다. 향후 S-PBL 학습방법을 적용한 다양한 통합간호실습 교과목 운영에 대한 효과를 확인하는 실험 연구를 제언한다.

영문 초록

This study was performed to examine the effects of integrated nursing practicum by applying simulation-problem based learning (S-PBL) on the critical thinking disposition, nursing process competence, and self-confidence on core basic nursing skills. A one group pre-posttest study was used. The participants were 54 nursing students who took the integrated nursing practicum in the first semester on 2016. The period for this study was from April 27th to June 22nd in 2016. The course included three nursing scenarios. For each scenario, it was applied the group discussion for nursing process (2hours), the practice for core basic nursing skills (4hours), and the group simulation practice and debriefing (2hours). Data were analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 version with descriptive statistics paired t-test, and Pearson correlation coefficients. After the course, there were significant increase in critical thinking disposition(t=-5.30, p<.001), nursing process competence(t=-6.40, p<.001), and self-confidence on core basic nursing skills(t=-7.32, p<.001). There was a significant positive correlation between post critical thinking disposition and post nursing process competence(r=632, p<.001). The findings of this study show that integrated nursing practicum by simulation-problem based learning can be used for improvement the critical thinking disposition, nursing process competence and self-confidence on core basic nursing skills of nursing students through nursing practicum.
