초등 5학년 남녀아동의 또래애착 유형에 따른 개인발달과 발달환경의 차이

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등 5학년 남녀아동의 또래애착을 유형화하고, 또래애착 유형의 특징을 개인발달(자아존중감, 성적)과 발달환경(가정환경, 또래환경, 교육환경, 지역사회환경, 매체환경)을 중심으로 파악하는데 있다. 이러한 연구를 달성하기 위하여 2014년 한국아동·청소년패널조사 원자료 중 초등학교 5학년(남학생 1,084명, 여학생 1,026명)을 대상으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 남녀 초등학생의 또래애착 유형은 또래애착 안정형, 소통&신뢰 부족형, 또래애착 소외형, 또래애착 불안정형의 네개의 유형으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 남자 초등학생은 또래애착 유형에 따라 개인발달(자아존중감, 성적)과 발달환경(부모의 학대, 방임, 친구에 대한 부모의 관심, 비등교일 또래놀이시간, 학교생활적응, 등교일 학원/과외시간, 거주지역인식, 공동체의식, 휴대전화의존도)의 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 셋째, 여자 초등학생은 또래애착 유형에 따라 개인발달(자아존중감, 성적)과 발달환경(부모의 학대, 방임, 친구에 대한 부모의 관심, 학교생활적응, 비등교일 학원/과외시간, 거주지역인식, 공동체의식, 휴대전화의존도, 등교일 컴퓨터/게임기오락시간, 비등교일 컴퓨터/게임기오락시간)의 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 남녀 초등학생의 또래애착 유형별 구체적인 정보와 더불어 또래애착을 증진시키기 위한 세분화된 교육 및 프로그램 개발의 기초자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The present research aimed to classify the peer attachment of fifth year male and female elementary school students into several distinct types, and to grasp the features of peer attachment types, focusing on personal development(self-esteem, school grades) and developmental environment(family environment, peer environment, educational environment, community environment, and media environment). Data used for this study came from the 2014 Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey in which the participants consisted of a total of 2,110 fifth graders(1,084 boys and 1,026 girls). The results of this research were as follows. The peer attachment of male and female elementary students was classified into four types designated as stable peer attachment, low communication and trust, peer attachment alienation, and unstable peer attachment. For both male and female elementary school students, personal development(self-esteem, school grades) and developmental environment(parents abuse and neglect, parents attitude toward peers, school life adjustment, community awareness, a sense of community, and mobile phone dependency) variables showed a significant difference by type of peer attachment. Furthermore, for male students, play time with peers on non-school days and time of private institution/tutoring on school days showed a significant difference, whereas for female students, time in private institution/tutoring on non-school days, time spent on computer/game console entertainment on school days, and time spent on computer/game console entertainment on non-school days revealed a significant difference. The research findings provides specific information about gender differences in peer attachment types of elementary school students, and are expected to be used as basic data for the development of specialized educational programs to promote peer attachment.
