노후준비교육 참여의 장해유형

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국 중장년층 성인 학습자들을 대상으로 노후준비교육 참여의 장해 유형을 밝히고, 연령대, 성별, 거주지역 학력, 소득, 직업과 같은 인구 변인이 장해유형에 미치는 차별적 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 구글 설문조사 방법과 우편 설문조사 방법을 병행하여 자료를 수집하였다. 노후준비교육 참여의 장해유형을 밝히기 위하여 잠재적 집단분석(Latent Class Analysis: LCA)을 실시했으며, 인구 변인에 따른 차이를 분석하기 위하여 다중로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중장년층 성인 학습자들은 노후준비교육 참여의 장해유형은 ‘경제적 상황장해형(5%)’, ‘비장해형(35%)’ ‘시간적 상황장해형(8%)’, ‘실천적 성향장해형(14%)’, ‘관심적 성향장해형(38%)’으로 유형화되었다. 둘째, 성별, 거주지역, 연령대, 소득, 학력, 직업 변인은 노후준비교육 참여의 장해 유형에 유의미한 차별적 영향을 미쳤다. 연구결과에 기초하여 평생학습의 차원에서 중장년층 학습자들이 노후준비교육에 참여할 수 있도록 도와주기 위한 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This article addressed two research questions were addressed: 1) Are there underlying types of deterrents to participation in aging preparation education among middle-aged adult leaners ? In other words, is there a latent class structure that adequately represents the heterogeneity in underlying types of deterrents to participation in aging preparation education? If so, what are the types? and how the middle-aged belong to each type of the latent classes? 2) Are demographic factors such as age, sex, grade, income predictive of membership in types of pdeterrents to participation in aging preparation education among middle-aged adult leaners? For the purpose of this study, we collected data through online survey and mailed survey, and latent class analysis(LCA) and multinominal logistic regression carried out using PROC LCA for SAS. The results are following. 1) the respondents were grouped into five latent classes: ‘situational barriers based on shortage of time(8%)’, ‘the situational barriers based on shortage of money(5%)’, ‘the non barriers(35%)’, ‘the dispositional barriers based on shortage of interest(38%)’, and ‘the dispositional barriers based on shortage of practice(14%)’. Secondly, demographic factors such as age, sex, grade, income were predictors of latent class membership.
