법령과 국가 교육과정 총론의 교육 목표 체제에 관한 시계열적 고찰

국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 법령과 국가 교육과정 총론에서 교육 목표를 어떻게 제시하여 왔는지 전반적인 변화를 시계열적으로 고찰하고자 하였다. 방법 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 법조문과 국가 교육과정 총론 문서를 수집하여 문헌 연구를 수행하였다. 법령과 국가 교육과정 총론에 제시된 교육과정 구성의 일반 목표, 학교 교육 목표를 연구 대상으로 개정 시기별 변화 추이를 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 법령과 국가 교육과정 총론의 이원화된 체제하에 일반⋅구체성 정도에 따라 교육 목표를 설정하여 왔음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 당위적 차원에서 교육과정 구성의 일반 목표를 선언적 수준으로 설정하여 교육과정의 총체적인 방향을 드러냈음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 학교 교육이 체계화됨에 따라 학교 교육의 수준과 정도를 고려하여 교육 목표를 구체적으로 설정하여 왔음을 확인하였다. 결론 첫째, 법령과 국가 교육과정 총론에서 교육 목표 체제를 일원화하여 체계적이고 일관성 있게 교육 목표를 설정할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 총체성 측면에서 궁극적으로 인류의 지속 가능한 발전과 공동체 가치 함양에 중점을 두어 교육과정 구성의 일반 목표를 설정할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 평생학습 차원에서 학생의 전인적인 성장과 발달에 초점을 두어 학교 교육 목표를 설정할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study attempted to examine in time series the overall changes in how educational objectives were presented in laws and the general overview of the national curriculum. Methods In order to achieve the purpose of the study, literature research was conducted by collecting legal texts and general documents on the national curriculum. The general objectives of the curriculum composition and the educational objectives for each school presented in the law and the general introduction of the national curriculum were analyzed for changes by revision period. Results First, it was confirmed that educational objectives have been set according to the degree of general and specificity under the dual system of laws and the general theory of the national curriculum. Second, it was confirmed that the overall direction of the curriculum was revealed by setting the general objectives of the curriculum composition at the declarative level at the justifiable level. Third, as school education became systematic, it was confirmed that educational objectives have been specifically set in consideration of the level and degree of school education. Conclusions First, it is necessary to set educational objectives systematically and consistently by unifying the educational objective system in laws and the general overview of the national curriculum. Second, in terms of totality, it is necessary to set general objectives for the composition of the curriculum, ultimately focusing on sustainable development of mankind and cultivating community values. Third, in terms of lifelong learning, it is necessary to set school educational objectives with a focus on the student's holistic growth and development.
