자살예방센터 이용자의 스트레스가 자살 사고에 미치는 영향: 우울의 매개효과와 사회적지지의 조절된 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 자살예방센터 이용자들의 스트레스와 자살 사고 간의 관계에서 우울이 매개하는지와 우울의 매개효과가 사회적지지에 의해 조절되는 지를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 본 연구 대상자는 서울, 경기, 인천, 경상, 충청, 부산 등의 22개 시에 위치한 지역 자살예방센터 이용자 202명을 대상으로 스트레스, 우울, 사회적지지, 자살 사고를 측정하였고 응답 자료들은 IBM SPSS 28과 Process macro v4.2를 활용하여 분석하였다. 결과 자살예방센터 이용자의 스트레스 수준이 높을수록 우울 수준 또한 높아지며 자살 사고 발생에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 사회적지지가 조절된 매개효과가 유의하였다. 이는 스트레스를 인지하는 개인의 반응이 우울을 매개로 삶의 질 저하와 함께 자살 사고를 더 많이 가지게 되지만, 사회적지지가 자살 사고를 더 잘 통제할 수 있다는 것을 시사한다. 결론 이를 바탕으로 자살 문제를 가진 대상자에 대한 평가 및 연구의 방향을 제시함으로 학문적⋅임상적 개입의 근거를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to verify whether depression mediates the relationship between stress and suicidal ideation among users of suicide prevention centers and whether the mediating effect of depression is moderated by social support. Methods The subjects of this study were 202 users of local suicide prevention centers located in 22 cities such as Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Gyeongsang, Chungcheong, and Busan. Stress, depression, social support, and suicidal ideation were measured, and the response data were analyzed in IBM SPSS 28. and Process macro v4.2 were used to analyze the results. Results The higher the stress level of suicide prevention center users, the higher the level of depression, and the mediating effect of social support in the process of influencing the occurrence of suicidal ideation was significant. This suggests that although an individual's response to stress leads to a decrease in quality of life and more suicidal ideation through depression, social support can better control suicidal ideation. Conclusions Based on this, the basis for academic and clinical intervention was presented by suggesting the direction of evaluation and research on subjects with suicide problems.
