국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 아동청소년 자녀를 양육하는 부모의 원가족건강성과 양육태도의 관계에서 자아탄력성과 부부친밀감의 순차매개효과가 유의한지를 분석하였다. 방법 초⋅중⋅고교에 재학중인 자녀를 둔 학부모 501명을 대상으로 2024년 2월 15일부터 3월 15일까지 원가족건강성, 자아탄력성, 부부친밀감, 양육태도 검사를 실시하였다. SPSS 25.0과 PROCESS Macro v4.0을 활용하여 분석하였으며, 기술통계와 신뢰도, 상관관계 분석은 SPSS로, 단순 매개분석은 PROCESS의 Model 4를, 순차적 이중매개효과 분석은 Model 6을 이용하여 검증하였다. 결과 첫째, 부모의 원가족건강성, 자아탄력성, 부부친밀감, 양육태도 간에는 모두 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 자아탄력성은 부모의 원가족건강성과 양육태도 간의 관계를 유의하게 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부부친밀감 역시 부모의 원가족건강성과 양육태도 간의 관계를 유의하게 매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 자아탄력성과 부부친밀감의 순차적 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 부모의 원가족건강성과 양육태도 간에 두 변인이 순차적으로 매개하는 유의한 효과가 나타났다. 결론 부모의 원가족건강성은 자아탄력성과 부부친밀감을 순차매개하여 양육태도에 영향을 미친다는 점을 확인하였다. 이는 원가족에서의 건강한 경험이 풍부할수록 자아탄력성이 높아지고, 부부 간 높은 친밀감 형성으로 이어지며, 결국 이러한 긍정적 연쇄반응이 양육태도를 향상시키게 된다. 따라서 아동청소년 자녀를 양육하는 부모의 역할에 대한 깊은 이해를 제공하고, 양육태도 개선을 위한 실천적 방안을 제시하는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, we analyzed whether the sequential mediating effects of self-resilience and marital intimacy were significant in the relationship between family-of-origin healthiness and parenting attitudes among parents raising children and adolescents. Methods From February 15 to March 15, 2024, a total of 501 parents with children attending elementary, middle, or high schools were surveyed using assessments of family-of-origin healthiness, self-resilience, marital intimacy, and parenting attitudes. Analyses were conducted using SPSS 25.0 and PROCESS Macro v4.0. Descriptive statistics, reliability, and correlation analyses were performed in SPSS, while simple mediation analysis was conducted with Model 4 of PROCESS. Sequential double mediation effects were tested using Model 6 of PROCESS. Results First, there were significant positive correlations among parents’ family-of-origin healthiness, self-resilience, marital intimacy, and parenting attitudes. Second, self-resilience was found to significantly mediate the relationship between parents’ family-of-origin healthiness and their parenting attitudes. Third, marital intimacy also played a significant mediating role in the relationship between parents’ family-of-origin healthiness and their parenting attitudes. Fourth, the results of the sequential mediation analysis indicated that both self-resilience and marital intimacy sequentially and significantly mediated the relationship between parents’ family-of-origin healthiness and their parenting attitudes. Conclusions In conclusion, this study confirmed that parents’ family-of-origin healthiness affects their parenting attitudes through the sequential mediation of self-resilience and marital intimacy. Specifically, the richer and healthier the experiences from one’s family of origin, the higher one’s self-resilience tends to be. This heightened self-resilience, in turn, leads to the formation of stronger marital intimacy, eventually resulting in a positive chain reaction that enhances parenting attitudes. These findings offer a deeper understanding of the roles and dynamics at play for parents raising children and adolescents, and they also contribute practical insights for improving parenting attitudes.
