초등학생의 창의성 향상을 위한 교육 프로그램 개발: 창의적 사고기법의 활용과 메이커 교육을 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 초등학생을 위한 창의적 사고기법과 메이커 교육을 결합하는 창의성 향상 교육 프로그램을 설계 및 개발하고, 전문가 검토와 현장 교수자 및 학습자의 반응 확인을 통해 타당도를 확인하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 설계⋅개발연구 방법론을 적용하여 먼저 창의성 향상을 위한 교육 프로그램 관련 선행문헌을 검토하고 창의성 전문가, 교육자, 학습자 대상으로 요구분석을 실시하여 개발 시사점을 확인하였다. 개발 시사점을 근거하여 창의적 사고기법과 메이커 교육이 포함된 교육 프로그램을 설계하였고, 총 34차시의 교육 프로그램을 구성하였다. 그리고 초기 설계된 교육 프로그램 대상으로 창의성 내용전문가 1인과 교육학 전문가 3인의 2차례의 전문가 검토를 실시하였고, 실제 교육 현장의 교수자 3인과 학습자 3인 대상으로 교육 프로그램에 대한 반응 확인하였다. 이상 과정을 거쳐 교육 프로그램을 수정 및 보완하여 최종 교육 프로그램 및 교육 프로그램 운영을 위한 매뉴얼, 수업 자료, 학습자용 자료 등 산출물을 개발하였다. 결과 교육 프로그램을 중심으로 실시한 2차례의 전문가 검토에서 교육 프로그램은 전반적으로 타당하다는 의견을 확보하였다. 그리고 학습자 대상 실시한 사용자 평가에서 해당 교육 프로그램의 내용 구성, 교육 방법, 교육 프로그램의 적합성 문항에서 모두 5점 만점 기준 4점 이상(CVI=1.00, IRA=1.00)의 점수를 확인하였고 교수자 대상의 사용성 평가에서는 모든 항목이 모두 5점(CVI=1.00, IRA=1.00) 만점을 확인하였다. 결론 본 연구는 초등학생의 창의성 향상을 위한 교육 프로그램 및 보조자료를 개발함으로써 실제 초등학생의 창의성 향상에 도움이 된다는 점을 확인할 수 있었고, 향후 초등학생을 위한 창의성 교육을 위한 구체적인 참고방안으로 기여할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to design and develop a creativity enhancement education program for elementary school students by integrating creative thinking techniques with maker education, and to verify its validity through expert reviews as well as feedback from on-site instructors and learners. Methods In this study, a design and development research methodology was employed. First, a review of prior literature on educational programs aimed at fostering creativity was conducted. Needs analysis were then carried out with creativity experts, teachers, and learners to identify implications for development. Based on these findings, an educational program incorporating creative thinking techniques and maker education was designed, consisting of a total of 34 sessions. The initially designed program underwent two rounds of expert review by one creativity content expert and three educational experts. Afterward, three on-site instructors and three learners participated in a user feedback process to assess their responses to the program. Through these processes, the program was revised and refined, and final outputs, including a manual, instructional materials, and learner materials, were developed. Results Two rounds of expert review focusing on the educational program confirmed its overall validity. In the usability evaluation conducted with learners, the program’s content structure, educational methods, and overall appropriateness each received scores of 4 or higher out of 5 (CVI=1.00, IRA=1.00). In the usability evaluation by instructors, all items scored full marks (5 out of 5, CVI=1.00, IRA=1.00). Conclusions This study confirmed that the newly developed educational program and supporting materials effectively enhance elementary school students’ creativity. The results provide concrete references and guidance for future creativity education initiatives for elementary school learners.
