관형사형 어미 ‘-을’ 혹은 ‘-는’ 선택을 위한 한국어 교재 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 한국어 교재에서의 관형사절의 하위 범주, 관형사절의 하위 범주 하에서 동사유형⋅부류, 관형사절의 하위 범주 하에서 동사유형⋅부류와 공기하는 명사범주 각각의 출현 빈도를 고찰하여 한국어 교재가 ‘-을’ 혹은 ‘-는’을 선택할 기회를 제공하는지를 ‘-을’ 혹은 ‘-는’의 선택 조건으로 판단한다. 선택 조건과 부합하는지 판단하려면 관형사절의 하위 범주, 관형사절의 하위 범주 하에서 동사유형⋅부류, 관형사절의 하위 범주 하에서 동사유형⋅부류와 공기하는 명사범주 각각의 출현 빈도를 고찰한다. 방법 고려대, 이화여대 교재에서 ｢주어 / 목적어 – 동사 + ‘-을, -는’ - 명사범주｣를 수집하여 도입대화, 문법설명, 예문제시, 문장 완성⋅연결 연습, 대화문 완성, 기능 연습, 과제 활동에서의 관형사절의 하위 범주, 관형사절의 하위 범주 하에서 동사유형⋅부류, 관형사절의 하위 범주 하에서 동사유형⋅부류와 공기하는 명사범주 각각의 출현을 고찰한다. 도입대화, 문법설명, 예문제시, 문장 완성⋅연결 연습, 대화문 완성, 기능 연습, 과제 활동이관형사절의 하위 범주, 관형사절의 하위 범주 하에서 동사유형⋅부류, 관형사절의 하위 범주 하에서 동사유형⋅부류와 공기하는 명사범주를 많이 이용하면 마에무라카즈아키(2021)의 선택 조건과 부합한다고 판단한다. 결과 고려대, 이화여대 교재는 문법설명이 ‘-을’ 혹은 ‘-는’을 선택하는 조건을 명시적으로 설명하지 못하였고 문장 완성⋅연결 연습, 대화문 완성, 기능 연습이 ‘-을’ 혹은 ‘-는’을 선택할 기회를 어느 정도 제공하였다. 문장 완성⋅연결 연습, 대화문 완성은 관형사절의 하위 범주, 관형사절의 하위 범주 하에서 동사유형⋅부류 관련의 선택 조건과 부합하였고 기능 연습은 관형사절의 하위 범주 하에서 동사유형⋅부류와 공기하는 명사범주 관련의 선택 조건과 부합하였다. 결론 고려대, 이화여대 교재는 의사소통 능력 향상을 위해 문법설명이 ‘-을’ 혹은 ‘-는’을 선택하는 조건을 명시적으로 설명해야 하고 문장 완성⋅연결 연습, 대화문 완성, 기능 연습이 ‘-을’ 혹은 ‘-는’을 선택할 기회를 적극적으로 제공해야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to determine whether Korean textbooks provide an opportunity to choose ‘-을’ or ‘-는’ as a selection condition by frequency of the subcategories of determiner clauses, frequency of the verb types and class under subcategories of determiner clauses, frequency of the verb types and class and noun categories under subcategories of determiner clauses. Therefore to determine if it fits the selection condition, examine frequency of the subcategories of determiner clauses, frequency of the verb types and class under subcategories of determiner clauses, frequency of the verb types and class and noun categories under subcategories of determiner clauses in Korean textbooks. Methods From the textbooks of Korea University and Ewha Women's University, ‘subject / object – verb + ‘-을, -는’ - noun category’ is collected. Introductory dialogue, grammar explanation, example sentence presentation, sentence completion/connection practice, dialogue completion, functional practice, and task activity consider the frequency of using the subcategories of determiner clauses, the verb types and class under subcategories of determiner clauses, the verb types and class and noun categories under subcategories of determiner clauses. Results Korea University and Ewha Womans University textbooks did not explicitly explain the conditions for choosing ‘-을’ or ‘-는’ for grammar explanation, and provided some opportunities for sentence completion / connection practice, dialogue completion, and functional practice to choose ‘-을’ or ‘-는’. Sentence completion / connection practice, and dialogue completion reflected the choosing conditions related to the subcategories of determiner clauses, the verb types and class under subcategories of determiner clauses. while functional practice reflected the choosing conditions related to the verb types and class and noun categories under subcategories of determiner clauses. Conclusions Korea University and Ewha Womans University textbooks should explicitly explain the conditions for choosing ‘-을’ or ‘-는’ in grammar explanation to improve communication skills, and provide opportunities to choose ‘-을’ or ‘-는’ for sentence completion / connection practice, connection practice, dialogue completion, and functional practice.
