대학생 디지털 리터러시 국내 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 현시점에서 대학생을 대상으로 한 디지털 리터러시 연구를 종합적으로 고찰하고, 분야별 연구 동향을 면밀히 분석하여 향후 디지털 리터러시 연구에 기초적인 토대를 마련하고 연구 방향을 제안하고자 하였다. 방법 2007년부터 2024년 9월까지 약 17년 동안 한국연구재단(KCI), 한국학술정보원(KISS), 국회전자도서관(NDAL)에서 제공하고 있는 ‘대학생 디지털 리터러시’ 관련 학술지 논문을 NetMiner 데이터 분석 프로그램을 통해 키워드 빈도분석, 키워드 네트워크 분석, 커뮤니티 분석을 진행하였다. 결과 첫째, ‘대학생 디지털 리터러시’ 관련 연구는 처음 2007년 이후 게재 편수가 증가하여 2023년 31편(24.8%)으로 최고의 투고 실적을 보여주었다. 둘째, ‘역량’이 가장 핵심적인 키워드로 드러났으며 ‘교육’, ‘학습’, ‘미디어’, ‘정보’의 순으로 표기되었다. 가장 높은 동시 출현빈도는 ‘역량-정보’로 파악되었으며 다음으로는 교육-미디어, 역량-평가도구, 교육-학습, 미디어-정보, 교양-교육, 교육-역량, 역량-학습, 미디어-역량, 간호-학습, 교육-정보, 역량-창업, 역량-활용로 분석되었다. 셋째, 연결 중심성은 역량, 교육, 학습, 사고, 사회, 매체, 미디어의 순으로 나타났고, 매개 중심성은 역량, 교육, 매체, 사회, 사고, 미디어, 매체 순으로 나타났으며 근접 중심성은 역량이 가장 높고 다음으로는 교육, 학습, 사고, 사회, 매체, 미디어 순으로 분석되었다. 결론 본 연구는 국내 대학생들의 디지털 리터러시 연구동향을 분석하여 디지털 리터러시의 핵심 역량과 관련 변인을 파악하고, 변화하는 교육 환경에서의 디지털 리터러시 교육 발전의 필요성을 확인하였다. 대학생들의 디지털 리터러시 능력은 정보 탐색, 문제 해결, 온라인 커뮤니케이션, 창의적 표현 등 다양한 학습 및 사회적 활동에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 이는 4차 산업혁명 시대에 필수적인 역량으로 자리잡기 위한 향후 연구가 요구될 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to comprehensively review digital literacy research for university students at the present time, closely analyze research trends by field, lay the foundation for future digital literacy research, and suggest research directions. Methods From 2007 to 2024, the NetMiner data analysis program conducted keyword frequency analysis, keyword network analysis, and community analysis of academic papers related to ‘university student digital literacy’ posted to domestic journals for about 17 years. Results First, the number of publications related to ‘university student digital literacy’ has increased since 2007 for the first time, showing the best posting performance with 31 articles (24.8%) in 2023. Second, ‘competence’ was revealed as the most important keyword, followed by ‘education’, ‘learning’, ‘media’, and ‘information’. The highest simultaneous occurrence frequency was identified as ‘competency-information’, followed by education-media, competency-evaluation tool, education-learning, media-information, liberal arts-education, education-competence, competency-learning, media-competence, nursing-learning, education-information, competency-startup, and competency-utilization. Third, connection centrality was shown in the order of competency, education, learning, thinking, society, media, and media, and mediation centrality was shown in the order of competency, education, media, social media, thinking, media, and proximity centrality was analyzed in the order of highest competency, followed by education, learning, thinking, society, media, and media. Conclusions This study analyzed the research trends of digital literacy among domestic university students to identify the core competencies and related variables of digital literacy, and to confirm the necessity of the development of digital literacy education in the changing educational environment. University students' digital literacy skills have an important influence on various learning and social activities such as information search, problem solving, online communication, and creative expression, which will require future research to establish itself as an essential competency in the era of the 4th industrial revolution.
